Blue's Trap!?
The fifth game!! Another addition to the "Complete Works" series.
Rockman, as usual, commits robot-on-robot violence to stop Blues. That one old scientist may or may not be relevant, but, nine times out of ten, he is. There's an opening, but I can't understand it. Ergo, no plot.
Plays JUST like all the other Megaman games. Charge shot still exists. We get Beat, a robot birdie.
Like all the others: Navi Mode (Dr. Cossack is Navigator), rapid fire, boss weakness abuse, and sucking at the game. Like Rockman 4's Navi Mode, this game has rearranged music. There's also Power-up parts like Rockman 4. I learned that L2 and R2 toggles Rush Coil and such. Wish I knew about that for the other games. Then again, L2 and R2 are probably the 2nd most ignored buttons anyway (first, to me, would be Select). I also go after the panels (ROCKMAN5) and abuse Beat.
I sorta like this game, only because of the music (mainly the Boss battle music, NES and Complete Works alike, and the Robot Master Intro, NES and Complete Works alike.)

It kind of did, The complete selection was released untranslated for PS3 and a bunch of features from Complete Selection were added to the Anniversary Collection

RassilonTDavros the closest you'll get to these versions is the megaman anniversary collection on the ps2, gc and Xbox, the GameCube version doesn't have the option for the remixed music though

0:44: Mega Man & X - Prologue - The year 21XX. Dr. Albert Wily, an evil mastermind who planned to dominate humankind was sentenced to 30 years in prison for many attempts to malicious destruction and was questioned about his crimes. After he was sent a debt to society after his 30-year prision sentence, he decided to change his ways of violence, and mankind seemed to be retuning to a world of peace. However, one month after Dr. Wily's change of heart, something malicious happened. 8 mysterious robots started to terrorize and demolish entire cities. They're called the "Desert Ashes", which were led by a mysterious billionare named Dr. Goodman. They want revenge against Dr. Wily, who has atoned for his actions he shouldn't have done. Dr. Wily decides that Dr. Goodman needs to stop with this tyranny, but Goodman disagrees because Wily's evil ambition must be fulfilled, and he must thrive as the superior race. "Why the f**k would you atone for world domination, Dr. Wily!?" Dr. Goodman cussed out to Wily. "You realize that you need to pay your house payment if you have finished taking over the world! Why can't you f**king join me, so that you don't have to worry about that s**t!?" "I can't join you. I've changed my evil ways. You need to stop all of this nonsense!" Dr. Wily replied. Now Dr. Wily has been kidnapped, and Dr. Goodman is plannig for world domination - in order to fulfill his dream. Is mankind doomed? Thankfully, Mega Man, a robot created by Dr. Thomas Light, accepts his fate and plunders himself in the heart of battle, but he is not alone. With the power of his new pal, HM-01, a female computer program that resides in his Mega Buster and the help of a robot named X, a B-class Maverick Hunter, he knows he has the chance to put an end to this war, no matter the cost. Now, Mega Man and his successor, X have joined forces in this action-filled adventure!

The only one of the RMCW series I personally own a copy of. Found it locally, $30, got it instead of Rockman X3 PS1. Good thing, because years later I'd have MMXC on PS2, nullifying the need for that single X title (I still want it eventually though, will be a hefty pricetag though).

Americans would want 'em all bundled in a big collection. The whole thing would probably spread across four or five discs just to accommodate the remastered soundtracks and it might end up costing $69 for the set.

The Mega Man 1-6 Complete Works can only use the OFWs like 5.50, 6.20 & 6.60. The Mega Man 1-3 Games does not support the Power Battle and Fighters music. This Power Battle Fighters music can only use Mega Man 4-6 Complete Works Games.
