I have to say really, i was a big SpongeBob Fan, i had DVDs, a DVD video Game, Radio plays CDs and then also this game on cartridge. "SpongeBob SquarePants - SuperSponge" is after "SpongeBob SquarePants: Legend of the Lost Spatula" the second game of the SpongeBob video game series, it cames 2001 for PlayStation and GBA. This game is not so long - 5 Chapters each 4 Levels and the last has always a boss.
Just like the SNES Games from Infogrammes has this game also Passwords. For the SNES there was from Nickelodeon "AAAHH!!! Real Monsters", "Nickelodeon Guts", "Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day" and four games from the first Nickelodeon TV cartoon series "The Ren & Stimpy Show" from 1992.
The TV cartoon series "SpongeBob SquarePants" cames in America 1999 on TV. In my country Germany comes the series only in August 2002 under the name "SpongeBob Schwammkopf" the first time on SUPER RTL until the end of Juny 2009. The series has over 150 episodes, the most episodes are two in one. SUPER RTL took up episode 73. Took over from episode 74 of Nickelodeon. There was even a station them in Germany from 1995 to 1998 as "Nickelodeon Deutschland". On September 12, 2005 came the first broadcast of the new "Nickelodeon" in Germany then known as "Nick", at the end of March 2010 was it then "Nickelodeon".
P.S. I'm also a REALLY BIG Nickelodeon fan. Good Cartoons, good sitcoms and good job guys! -

This is such a unique era in video games. The glut of license games with unique styles and takes on franchises that seem quaint in contrast to the image said franchises give off now. There are suggestions of a resurgence of this with The Cosmic Shake, but for me, the GBA graphics and bare-bones plots will always hold their own charm.

This was one of my favorite GBA games as a kid (and still play it on occasion)! I love the different environments and the entire soundtrack slaps. My favorite levels were the Oil Rig, Lava Fields and Inside the Whale.

Its an emulator issue, the Jellyfish platform blinks fine if you are playing the game at 60 frames per second.
