I think he was miss understood since kranky Kong kidnapped Pauline he didn’t want anything else to happen so he trapped kranky Kong. But now Mario and Donkey Kong are friends and Kranky Kong is the grandpa of Donkey Kong. Or Jump Man could just be Mario’s dad

This isn't Mario, this is his father Jumpman, the lore of Donkey Kong Country confirms this. Even in the game Cranky Kong explains that these 2 Donkey Kongs were himself, and DK jr. is DK's father who went missing sometime between this game and Donkey Kong Country

I use to love this game ,but my biggest critizm is that its to short! Only three levels give me a break its like have three pennies its not that exiciting, but great game and story and everything!

Memory limitations when the arcade game came out played a big part in that. You have to remember games in those days had no end, and levels would repeat infinitely, you played for score, and how far you could make a quarter go. And since this is a direct arcade port, Nintendo wasn't going to add anything to it as NES carts early on had small memory storage space.

13,5 years i underestimated this version as easy but nope,as soon you beated this game 3 times you can concider yourself as a master because the difficuilty is extream, including the speed & artificial intellegence, i get screwed up despites using save states, to beat those levels in hard mode.

One of the differences between the NES and the original Arcade Versions is that when DK Jr. released his papa in the "Lock Stage" in the Arcade Version, Jr. would catch Papa while Mario would fall and chase after the apes to try to recapture them...Jr. and Papa would then run ahead of Mario, and then when they all reached the edge of the screen, Papa would kick Mario square in the butt, propelling him in the opposite direction...

Near arcade PERFECT port of DK Jr. All 4 boards and arcade graphics & sound. The only thing missing is the opening cutscene and the cutscene for Mario's Hideout.

I don't think he is Mario at all. In this original concept, he is Jumpman, who saved Pauline from Donkey Kong (Crankey Kong). Although, he was kidnapped after the defeats of Jumpman and Donkey Kong Jr. (who is the REAL Donkey Kong from now) rescued his grandpa. And you may see -Mario- Jumpman died at the end (some say that Mario was defeated) and you can see a halo on his head. No one could day in the Mario universe like that.
