No, no it wasn't. It was good but there were better point n clicks back then that pushed boundaries. The 25th anniversary of star trek was tbh more ahead of its time...1993, fully voiced by EVERY actor and could use some of the best synthesisers at the time, and barely any hoops need to be jumped through in order to play it. Harbinger is a nightmare to get working, music / sound no longer works properly without the codecs of the time....

Just in case you haven't stumbled across it in the years since this comment, there are actually four DS9 games. The fourth is the oldest, for SNES and Genesis/Mega Drive, and its titled Crossroads of Time. What I've played of the game itself was fun, but challenging; the only knock I really have against it is that it has the single worst rendition of any star trek theme I've heard in a game. Also, I just learned about The Fallen earlier today and I can't get over the voice actor playing Sisko.

Serious answer here: I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't get the actors. DS9's video game history is troubled in that not all of the cast have appeared in them. There's even a DS9 game that didn't have Avery in it, even though Sisko is. Oh and in response to the other comment, this is meant to be set in Season 3. So, no Worf.

Well, in the last few years. No, there hasn't been any new Stat Trek games. Which is odd really. Some game studio normally manages to sweet talk CBS into a game based on their new IP or something. Yet very little has come from it. Sure we got content drops in a few Star Trek Mobile games but who really plays those? And more content stories and ships in Star Trek Online. Which kind of does everything that Star Trek games had done 25+ years ago minus some okay-good RTS games. It could be CBS is very gun shy about licensing their Star Trek IP to any video game studio these days. After a long track record of some TERRIBLE cash grabs that flooded the market to drown out the truly better ones. Even cash grabs from rather respectable publishers doesn't help either (looking at Activision).

All we learn about them throughout the game is that they’re a naturally diplomatic people, that they have given names but no surname, their alcohol tolerance is non-existent, and their local government is known as the Tirrion Assembly. Sadly, we never learn what they look like and know nothing about their homeworld. Admittedly, I’d like to see a remake of this game and to learn more about the Tirrions.
