It does a good job of capturing the essence of the game. Even the music, while painful to listen to, is accurate.

Painful? No trying to beat the record for this game listening to it for like 24 hours straight is not painful it’s rhythm

multiple sprites and no flickering???
@sdamon5 жыл бұрын
My understanding of the 2600 is that you are generally limited to two sprites per horizontal scanline. Looking at this video, it seems the programmer cleverly kept it so that only two cars ever shared the same horizontal space. (He could have had more had he been willing to use flickering)

You're not even playing it right. You're supposed to be bumping cars into the walls or jumping on top of them for points.
@simpleperson69578 жыл бұрын
Bro, did you watch only the beginning? He did bump those cars to the walls..

Actually if you don't smash any cars you get a special bonus of 50,000 points at the end of the stage.

@@Nigaromia i believe its more of an overlooked glitch due to 00 being equal to 100 which will give u 50,000 pts. but what do i know as other versions seem to give u the same.

Nowhere near the NES version. I'd feel sorry for any kid who got this pixelated mess.
@jeremywilliams52087 жыл бұрын
and the NES was how many years AFTER the 2600?? The NES has how many more capabilities than the 2600 had?? Do some research before posting stupid comments like that

The Famicom was released in 1983 so about seven years after the 2600 was released.

If I'm being totally honest, this is actually a better port. The NES one seemed a bit off. Not bad, just didn't feel like a Bump N' Jump game. Plus the NES one was a bit on the difficult side. The 2600 port had a better progression of difficulty.
