Nothing better than an Adam & Micah stroll down memory lane! Loved this!! I miss the Backlot so much and now being able to pinpoint where the Singing in the Rain umbrella was or the Earful Tower makes my heart happy!! I would give up Batuu a million times over and Toy Storyland to have the Backlot and Streets of America back!! Fantastic video Micah!!

@@worldofmicah so many great memories from back in 96 on my first visit to MGM and moving forward I also have so many amazing memories of the Honey I shrank the kids play set with my own kids and the Roger rabbit area just so many great things that help my love and attention.

I really enjoyed this vlog. My wife and I were in Disney for our honeymoon in 1990. That's when I fell in love with the Studios. Always loved the backlot tour and the Great Movie Ride. We were able to sit in for a taping on Let's Make a Deal. Even today when we visit the Studio, I wear my MGM Studio hat. This vlog sure brought back memories.

So depressing all my memories of MGM studios are gone. I love Star Wars but I’m sad. I thought they had so much land to work with that they could expand & not tear down unlike California. I gave pictures with my Dad on the NY streets when I was like 15 or 16. I miss those days & my vacations there with my parents. The backlot tour, catastrophe (sp.) Canyon, Roger Rabbit, etc. Then Watching the New Kids Wildest Dreams special on the backlot & my favourite show MMC with the Earful tower at the end. Such good memories.

I have been looking for the coordinates of that church on 17:40 map because I believe that’s where my husband proposed 27 years ago and we could never figure out where exactly it is now. We’ve always wanted to show our kids! And now we can! I think that’s the one. I wish I could find a street view photo! This is so awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Neat.... Great match ups.... miss those days... liked the backlot tour.... miss that area during Christmas.... my son really liked honey I shrunk kids playground.... Adam's shirt puppet was funny... Great views of the park.... Just wild seeing the transition from working film studio to a theme park land. A failed venture on Disney's part. Still, keeping the "Hollywood Studios" name is just redundant. Rather it'd be "Disney's Florida Adventure".

We never got to see the Osborn lights in person. Too expensive at Christmas. I remember seeing the backlot tour on our honeymoon in 1993, especially the Golden Girls house😊

I was thought that *Catastrophe Canyon* was a rip off off *Earthquake* at Universal Studios Hollywood / Orlando but it was different because it was outside. Almost the same effects, water, fire and the colliding truck; the memories. Rode the Backlot Tour once or twice; in 1989 we went but stayed a day and half because *Hurricane Earl* was coming through and dad saud, "we are out here" and that was after traveling three days on a Greyhound bus. Speaking of hurricanes, stay safe out there and do not blown away. ⛈⛈⛈⛈🌀🌀🌀

The old original Disney MGM Studios was by far superior to what the park is today. I am not a Star Wars fan at all, and that area is a complete waste of valuable land and billions of dollars as far as I am concerned. The studios park saw its glory in the early-mid 90s. I still like going to Hollywood studios, but for someone who experienced the park in its glory days, for me, this park is quite a disappointment. For those that never got to experience the original park as it was, they will never understand what I am trying to convey here. Today's park cannot hold a candle to the original. Now as for your Great Movie Ride video, I would love to see it done in both places, your home and discussion and on location at the park. A combination if you will.
