A very beautiful bike. Super light weight and well combined in colors, Now. The million dollar question is, how much this built cost ?

Oh what a wonderful choice Sir! That would be 9200€😅 The most expensive items are the frame with the shock (3499€) fork (1659€) and wheels (1800€)

I never did understand people who actually ride these ridiculously high end bikes. They must just have stupid money and use this simply as a hobby. Also interesting that it weighs 2 pounds more than my $3,000 2016 aluminum full sus 2x10 bike, but aight. That said, I love me a good build video! Excellent production and I watched every second!
@BGbikeandski2 жыл бұрын
really cheap components are usually lighter. the size of the bike also factors in, yours could be a medium or large, while the one he' building could be a L or XL
@Kcducttaper12 жыл бұрын
@@BGbikeandski Nah, cheaper components are usually heavier because they're made from cheaper (heavier) materials. High end bikes use materials like carbon fiber, titanium, and magnesium to shave off as many grams as they can. Cheaper bikes are made from materials that are cheaper to source like aluminum and steel. His Fox 38 is about a pound heavier than my Fox 32, but with the exception of calipers (I only have 2 piston); I would've thought all of the other components used would be lighter than mine. Not to mention he doesn't have a front derailleur and second gear up front like I do. Really not sure where that weight came from unless it's just all in the wheel size (mine is 27.5, but those are carbon rims where mine are aluminum) and tires. Both my bike and his bike are mediums. 23:09

Dream bike for sure. But why no AXS? and why no Trickstuff brakes? That would make it a dream build for me (almost impossible to get Truckstuff stuff). I expected it to be way lighter than 14.8 Kg. That's what my old Speci Enduro (29 alu) weighs.
@worldofmtb2 жыл бұрын
AXS is a nice choice for sure, but on this bike we preferred to have only mechanical components that last. XTR isn't so bad either😉 You can check all the weights at the end of the video or in the description below. My guess is your enduro has lighter tires, but if you compare it to the current Enduro it gets tricky to keep it below 15kg without compromising on durability.

@worldofmtb2 жыл бұрын

@worldofmtb2 жыл бұрын

No grease on the seatpost?
@worldofmtb2 жыл бұрын
No, there's carbon paste on the seatpost. You can use either one, but you have to make sure the seatpost doesn't move. With carbon paste you can keep the torque at the seat collar to a minimum and reduce the stress both on the post and frame.
