Love the cinematics in your recent videos. Maybe try adding a little extra light for your face cam section. But I’m loving the channel. Keep up the great work!

Yea, I have a really hard time with lighting. I plan on getting a simple lighting setup in the next month or two.

Also, I really want to start getting some higher-quality shots when I go out to record. Kind of like the close up near the end of this video. I want to start dedicating a little more time to getting those kinds of shots while I am recording.

Really cool video. What shooting cue/cues do you use. Im looking at getting a lucasi but im still not sure.

I currently shoot with a Meucci, but I am getting a new cue sometime this year. I have been shooting with the same cue since 2010. I was thinking of getting a J. Pechuar, Jacoby Custom, or something else from a custom cue maker.

@@Agiyi I just watched that shot and....ummmm idk about that one lol. I might give it a shot though. It kind of reminds me of the Chris Melling kick shot that I did except you are adding an extra rail, a combo, and a jump. I am pretty confident in my jumps though, so I think it is just a matter of getting lucky once I figure out where I need to be hitting the object ball to make contact with the 10.

3:05 love the "cue cam", by the way, do they use the Aramith Pro TV cup ball sets in your pool hall? That's really awesome!
@WorldofPoolandBilliards5 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure exactly what they use, but the balls are really nice there. It is owned/run by previous female world 9-ball champion KimGaYoung, so all of the equipment is top notch. A lot of the professional here in Korea go there to practice. They have a special of 10 dollars to play all day open to close every day.

Will do, I have a tournament qualifier to go to this weekend. I am hoping to make the Korean team for the APC. Hopefully I can get some recording done after the qualifier, but if not I have a spare video lined up that I can release next week.

with 80 percent of your attempts you still had 80 percent better shape so yeah thats a shot worth keeping and using depending on the situation ,. i take it the object ball has to be hit with the cue in mid air

forget the negative comments . the game of pool is all about physics and if you do not expand your mind and the possabilities you will always be stuck and passed up by others , there is not a pool player alive that became great from not thinking outta the box , that is also one reason i really hate the jump cues and dart jumping because it really does take away the real inovation and the endless possabilities of the game also .

3:44 you say you end up with an un-makeable shot on the 2 ball. From the position of the camera and my view of the shot it seems like that shot is makeable. It might be a severe cut though.

I mean, it's a direct rip of someone else's idea, and he's not really even adding his own flair to it. That said, at least it's more content for a game we all love. I would like to see this guy at least put his own spin on it.

You don't get to say this is a better shot at 4:06 when it's your umpteenth attempt and you're trying to recreate a shot. FYI you recreate the shot...you don't say you made it better.

So, what you're saying is... Reyes aimed at the 1 and made the ball jump before hitting the 4 and gets it to curve and get a position to aim for the combo on 2 in the middle of the tournament? ... Easy enough... for him. XD...

Scoop shots?!?
@WorldofPoolandBilliards5 жыл бұрын
Definitely not a scoop shot. This is a legally played jump shot.
@thepaperbowser5 жыл бұрын
Definitely not a scoop. I use this shot from time to time--it's really not even much of a jump shot. You're just exploiting the natural hop from shooting jacked up. The small hop is compounded when striking the object ball, giving the added lift it takes to get over the blocking ball. It's really simple, and you should give it a try at your local hall. It's a good trick to have in your bag.
@5153flash5 жыл бұрын
I think this jump happens all the time as people shoot and they dont know it. Of course it is not needed when they do it,,but it is happening. Its really not hard to make it happen but it is hard to realize when it would be useful. When balls are set up for it,,,most will mis the opportunity to do it.

@Skiier20085 жыл бұрын
Get some creativity and come up with your own content instead of ripping off someone else’s idea. From the format, to the music, to the narration style you’re a complete ripoff of another channel.
@WorldofPoolandBilliards5 жыл бұрын
I liked the Kamui videos, but he only releases once a month so I figured I would try to make some videos myself that are similar since people enjoy them. Rollie is well aware that I make these and has commented that he enjoys them, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Who are you standing up for? Its simple supply and demand. People want more videos in a similar format and he can only publish once a month. Having another channel that makes similar content doesn't create competition. It increases viewership of that genre and increases the likelihood of those types of videos popping up as recommended on their KZbin. Also, the music is different.
