I'm a little late to the game, but excellent video. Brought me back to the 80's-90's, playing the earlier A&A game around the table with friends, drinking beers (and whatnot) into the early hours of the morning. Really digging your videos, and this version of Axis and Allies. This format taught me a lot with all the discourse.

I am new to playing the game online. I have what are probably some simple questions. I am unclear what the term shuck regarding Finland and the Mediterranean signifies. I do not know how you are communicating by voice during the game. Is there a way to communicate with your opponent when playing one on one in ranked games? I always loved playing on the board when I was younger, and watching this feels like doing that.

Schuck means to transport units. Think of a supply line of units transported every turn via transports. They are probably communicating through discord. there is no way to communicate in game with your opponent.

He had a 82% chance of taking it. I believe it would be 1 tank, 1 fighter, and 2 bombers against 4 infantry.

Since the Cruiser survived, the bomber could have gone to solomon and the fighter back to the carrier on J1. If the J cruiser dies, then you need to leave the fighter to protect the bomber on either wake or solomons.

Russia player needs to shut up during other turns. G4 was a great turn and would have liked to hear his thought process considering he is the best player at the table

HA ha- You guys are talking about general Zod. He is a friend of mine, online not in person. He has never beaten me in a one off. Certainly a strong player - but I don't feel he has any special skills beyond and above anyone else. I does complain about dice a lot. lol He plays a TON of games, or at least he used to.

Fun to watch. Really intresting to listening to Ronald and his knowledge of the Game. I think the british player way overreacted and got superparanoid about VC win. No way Japan can capture India in the forseable future would take atleast 6 turns or even more. To many fighters that can go down there not to mention the Russian tanks if needed be. Even if Axis commits everything to India, Russia can send troops down there every turn to hold it even longer.

This is way late, by months, however, part of an opening for kjf is for BE (British Empire) to strike at JE fleet off Dutch East Indies. BE brings everything that can reach, should be 6 units, 60% chance to win, though only needs a draw. I don't believe any player mentioned this possibility. This will hurt JE help US. After 2 years of playing online version I'm finally back to all infantry for Ger. Glade to know I'm on the right track.

I started tracking the G1 sub to sea zone 10 over a year ago. I have close to 250 attacks and Germany only wins about 45% of the time. The rest are draws or Allies win.

Im hovering in Gold this season as Im not playing enough games- I generally find myself in platinum pretty quick. and I have kissed the top ten platinum a few times... I will make this comment though - I find the game less interesting at higher levels of play- Not because I lose more, but because the tactics become so standard - even in this game, the debates of plays you guys talk about are all really splitting hairs , no earth shattering grand policy changes... This is not a knock, its why you are good players... I just find I don't see a lot of interesting or crazy things happening once you hit high gold.

Yeah I think that this is a fair statement about the game. It comes down to which pivotal battles go one way in your, or your opponents favor.

Haven't seen much of this video yet but I disagree slightly here, plenty of different strats in plat this season. Loads of KJFs and some high risk players/new buys, even in the current top 10.

@@jan-hermanrabbers61 I don't consider KJF a novel strategy. Its an opportunity that makes sense under certain board conditions. Im not seeing much for new buys at all. But Ill keep playing and see if I hit any examples.
