12:27 Guys, I'm trying to decide which retro format to try next. Anyone think I should try 2027 Worlds?

Great video! Been starting to dive into retro with a few friends. Would love if you were able to include an example list on the side while covering each archetype in the future, if possible! Hope to play in a War of 04 someday 🙂 if I could ever get a Saturday off haha

Thanks for the suggestion! You can find the decks people have played in 2004 tournaments on Limitless. Perhaps I will make a video breaking down decklists in the future

@@RetroPokemonTCG would love that! It would help a lot with some of these cool rogue ideas like Glalie and the Miracle Sphere deck, as I’ve honestly never heard of these archetypes until I watched this video, but they sound really cool 🙂

@@itsjusttech9374 Well, the Glalie deck uses Swampert for Energy acceleration, Bellossom for healing and Ditto as a tech attacker, and the Miracle Sphere deck uses Lanturn, Team Aqua's Lanturn, Delcatty, Magneton, 15 basic Energy and 4 Miracle Sphere. The former got top 4 in the event, and the later's creator, tfw, described it as unplayable in its current state rather than D tier when he told me what it contained.

TCGONE is the best way to play retro online at the moment, I recommend it. The UI is pretty basic, but once you figure it out, getting to play retro is more than worth it! The only other way would be to build decks irl.
