Flattering to see people can break through by being sincere and medley focused as it's that natural transition that sets field marshal Montgomery pipe band apart/fresh like homemade bread.

Greetings, I’m a piper who plays with the Kevin R Bladford Memorial Pipe Band. How can I obtain a copy of Altera Terra? I’d be more than happy to pay for it! Thanks!
@MrUlsterscot3 жыл бұрын
The tune was composed by Lincoln Hilton who has his own excellent channel. Perhaps you could reach out to him. I know he has published several collections of his work.

@@MrUlsterscot Greetings from Southern California! I too am an Ulster-Scot. I found his website and ordered the sheet music. Unfortunately, I’m sure it will take a bit of time to get here as the USPS is really slow and all of the shipping troubles currently happening. I’m currently working on a tune called Ian McMaster, also by Lincoln Hilton.

It's "The Homewrecker" by Bob Worrall. Originally a 4 parted tune, but only parts 1 and 3 are played here.

It's their early rendition of Castlerock road, you should be able to look it up and find a medley with tunes underneath ( Altera Terra starts though )

It’s so both the pipe corps and drum corps can both clearly hear the bass as they form the circle. Keeps the whole band locked to the bass beat. That’s why. Nothing foolish about it though it is terrible drill if you’re used to military standards but that’s not what the Worlds about.
