It was the first game I ever got to play in its Alpha state, and even though I ran it at like 25 fps on an old pc, the grapple hook and the climbing made me a complete nerd for any movement system in games today. I wish I could just log in one more time, and let the sails carry me into the sunset.

Just thinking about all the adventures all the fights all the islands the excitement of finding a new engine makes me wanna cry of nostalgia. The freedom you feel while playing this game is amazing and unique. Being able to fly your shop and see the sunset at the horizon is like a dream. Even the "pirates" and aggressive alliances gave the game a sense of reality no other game has before. It really breaks my heart to see my favorite game shutdown. But it will remain in our memories forever.

Watched through just about every developer talk, put a good 567 hours into this game. I just want to go back, I’m so angry. It was such a perfect game. This game had so much potential, if you guys had a good marketing campaign I’m sure it would’ve taken off. Meanwhile we adorn Call of Duty #16 for its “unique gameplay” and let treasures like this game die out. I never once encountered a toxic person on this game. I remember watching videos on it early 2016 when some guys were messing around with the physics. I could make a 7 hour rant on why this game needs to come back. It had such a great community. Thank you, Bossa. But don’t kill a good game too soon.

Every once in a while I come back to this song. It kinda triggers something in me every time I hear it. My little brother used to sit on my bedroom couch and watch me play for hours. And if I wasn’t playing, this song was making idle memories, memories I really didn’t know I had until this game was gone. Now I’m in college and things are going so fast. I wish I was listening to this song, listening to someone tell me “go to that island!” When I say some games can be art, I mean it.
