That would be a good video Will. I would also love to see a video on the different types of edge creaser tips, so many of them not sure which ones I should get. Thanks so much for the video Will.

Thank you Will. Love all your videos! Would very much like to see your take on edge painting vs. burnishing. Have tried some edge painting but wasn’t happy with the result.

Hi Will- Thanks for your helpful and interesting videos. You asked for feedback on whether to create a video on edge painting vs burnishing. I for one would love to see/ hear your take on the subject! Thanks again for supporting us learners of the craft.

2 methods for veg tan. For reasons you will guess, roo is cheaper here than Italian or American leather, and veg tanned roo is butterly soft yet very strong. Method 1 silver marking pens. Method 2 sticky note glue: You can buy glue sticks made of the same glue as Post-it notes.

Never go anywhere near silver pen in my opinion, it can very easily stain and if you accidentally get it on the leather that will be seen it will leave extremely unsightly marks on your work.

@WillHodges I can only conclude that the silver pens available in Australia are different from the one available in the UK. I always trace my cardboard pattern onto the leather, whether veg tanned or chrome and never had any problems removing the marks with water and a rag. Because of different regulations sometimes the same product in almost the same packaging is slightly different. Whilst I am generally in favour of regulation there are times when I have WTF moments. The kangaroo leather industry took a huge hit when an American state decided to ban roo leather (I think it was California) and since running 2 production lines is difficult Reebok stopped making their premium football boots out of roo. I don't want to be xenophobic but I think Australia knows more about kangaroos than America.
