Here in NZ we got the RZ 250 & 350 from 83 through to 87/88, the later ones got a full fairing, different side panels, tail light and different wheels and forks, swingarm. The TZR 250 that followed was a great bike, and at the time, we all hoped for a 350cc version. I have the last model of TZR, a 95 TZR250 SPR, with the close ratio box and dry clutch, the little v-twin 2 stoke engine is a work of art, and the bike is one of the nicest looking Yamahas from the 90s.
