WORLDS FASTEST ABARTH 500 MTA *310 BHP build*

This Abarth is the FASTEST Abarth 500 (695 Biposto Rep) MTA in the WORLD at present running 310 BHP and 310 ft-lb. This is the COMPLETE build story. This Abarth started its life as a Abarth 500 custom and Bilal has spent so much time and effort creating what i believe to be one of the best looking abarth 500 on the planet which is now running the abarth 695 biposto original full body kit, the biposto OZ ultraleggera wheels. An arqay rear wing to create the down force needed to keep this 300bhp monster on the straight and narrow! There is currently no other MTA abarth running 300bhp let alone 310bhp. This is what makes this so special and sets new benchmarks with what is achievable with the abarth 500 range.

-Built turbo and engine from the same company OD
-Build took 2 weeks
-1 week more for cam and engine run in
-hypereutectic pistons suited best for my application (forged enough for 300+bhp).
-fully forged pistons can take pump gas (nitro etc...) but end up with piston slap at startup.
-cams were timed with the stroke to give optimum power

dear Stef... could you tell me what alloy wheel do you have on the Abarth, please? I have ordered alloy wheels but they are 7.5 inch wide instead of 7 😢😢😢 and everybody told me in the repair station that there is not enough space inside for this 0.5 inch so 1.25cm 😭 Now probably I have to send back ☹ to Italy which costs a lot for me as an individual and not a company. Could you please confirm me whether a 7.5j x 17 ET 35 alloy wheel fits under my 2018 595C Turismo. My threat is that tyre might touch the inner part of the car while I use the steering wheel and damage the tyre because the alloy is wider 😞 Many thanks for your kind reply!

This build is stunning. I’ve just bought my first 595 in record grey. What wheels are these and are they 17s or 18s? I’d love to get a set. Your content is brilliant mate. I love you passion for these little cars even tho you have moved on to bigger more powerful motors. I’ve owned Subaru sti, civic type r and Audi s3. I have to say the little 595 I now have with stage 1 and bombardone exhaust is as much fun as any of those cars! Not as fast but puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I commend you as a young channel, I really wish you’d let him keep going about the piston clearances, I know it wasn’t intentional but in saying “we’re going deep, you asked for it” you basically stopped short the most in depth explanation in the video. Food for thought, hosting/interviewing can be counterintuitive, in tv news they have to interrupt their guests to keep schedule, you’ve got no such constraints, my suggestion would be let him answer until he stops, then speak. Truly not trying to be rude. Best of luck.

Hypereutectic pistons can comform a little bit where a forged one will not, but I'd still never use them in anything with boost (they are still a cast piston). They are for NA rebuilds, no idea why he went with them, they are now his weak link if he has forged rods and crank. My Abarth came with forged pistons from the factory for a reason.

Why did he go with hypereutectic pistons? They have no benefit over forged pistons especially in a boosted engine.

Hypereutectic pistons were best for my application - they are forged too but not as much. They can take significant amount of boost, much more than what I run and a shot of nitro every now and then. Extremely decent and very capable for what I wanted to use it for (fast road and occasional track) The fully forged are super expensive, bespoke and are designed for pure track racing and hardcore applications. It can take regular nitro hits. I’m not going anywhere near that stuff. Fully forged pistons have piston slap behaviour at startup due to the nature of the material. Once warmed up and expanded the slapping goes away. Hope that explains :)

Bilal Ajaz Nawaz you better have meant 41,000 rpm I just put a down payment on a fiat to duplicate this, wanna see if lift can be genrerated with wings, an extra turbo, and 41,000rpm. I figure it’s a guarantee if you’re putting out 300bhp at under 5,000rpm, that thing hasn’t even been unleashed and revving it out will probably put you at least at the 1hp per pound mark for the car if not far above it.

Bilal Ajaz Nawaz there’s a guy who built his vw by placing an extra engine in the rear, driving each axle independently, if we could tie two together in a similar fashion, we’d effectively have 82,000rpm of usable power and we could potentially sell to the army/navy as land based interceptors for terrorists using rogue vehicles. And if we get it aerodynamically stable it could also serve to drive a VTOL style vertical lift propulsion system while the front motor provides 41,000 rpm of horizontal thrust. I’m not sure you appreciate what a significant development this is, you’ve achieved something remarkable here, I want to throw every cent I’ve got behind the idea and getting it out there. You’ve changed my life my friend. Low let’s change the world.
