Just letting you guys know when I bought my black jack 24 v2 I changed out the radio and put my new dx6 rugged in it and changed out the steering servo for a better one now it handles so much better

But I never go out expecting to go slower than the last time. lol But in all seriousness unless you change the esc out then not much more speed is going to come easily. I like to push the stock stuff myself. Anyone can put a v8 in a ford focus and be fast lol. Thanks for watching.

Thanks! Your probably going to have to get some car hardpacks to fit properly in the trays. Mine were some old 5,000mah Turnigy. The 5000mah CNHL soft packs somewhat fit but not like the hardcases do though. You will get 3-4 min of run time depending on the prop selection and mah of course.

Do you use Hi Voltage lipos? Increasing the RPM thus increasing speed?

No. Hi voltage lipos won't hold under load like normal cells will. That's why hi voltage packs are rated at a lower c rating than non hi voltage packs from the same manufacturer. Hi voltage packs will work in a low drain app like drones and crawlers but not in boats.

Man i don’t know i been watching you for a couple of years now and been dealing with many friend boaters ..And not to mention dealing with Chris Hoffman for props with me,friends,and family longer than you knew who he was ..And the speeds without blown ESC’s or over heating issues is very far fetched sir. Especially being bone stock……

Just like with speed running cars, the speed doesn’t come from the build or the money or anything like that. It comes from the surface you run on. The fastest guys in the world have access to the roads that enable them to do it. Same with boats. The fastest guys on water are because of the water they have access to. This exact same boat would struggle to go 40 on the water I run on. Same with my 140mph Infraction. I could easily go 40+mph faster with the exact same setup if I had the access to the same roads that Raz and McCoy do. That’s why I laugh when I see “worlds fastest”, as if that description belongs to anything but the surface itself that the speed was achieved on.

@@MrMad2424 I’ve been trying! There’s a local airport near me with a not so busy runway and I keep calling people and NOBODY is interested. Even a local race track with a prepped quarter mile, no interest there either. Idk how these guys find these runways, they must know a guy or two. I don’t.
