Thing is, he's not outgunned. He's got the SAME SMX as that Viper. Mullet's problem is that it's still using a lot of the orignial El Camino chassis when everyone else is on a full tube chassis that can actually put that kind of power down to the road without blowing the tires off.

I was speaking with someone while walking down to the track, and they hadn't bought tickets yet, and the announced over the loud speakers it was sold out at 10am that morning. Crazy that people think they can still by tickets in person even though they mentioned it last year and all over socials that tickets are online only.

Previous Fastest Audi was Bulgarian Its Based on the 5cylinder platform if I am not mistaken, and its capable of more. The owner of the car is a beast and i reckon the record might be coming back to him in the near future. I am happy people are finally seeing how capable is the vr6 engine.

HST will probably lower it even more they are ahead on the development cycle over the 5 cylinder with their VR6 platform it's a full billet block with a custom adapted liberty HST can still cut more weight as well so I predict HST will probably be under 6.5 in a few months specially if they hit Orlando in a few weeks
