@Mopar.Addict815 Жыл бұрын
@Paul-815 the questions I had was what gyro are you using and are you using the stock spur gear then the high speed pinion with the setup your running and what size lipos are you running as I was debating eliminating the battery tray to fit bigger lipos
@Paul-815 Жыл бұрын
@@Mopar.Addict815 it’s a futaba gyro. The one I have is old, I don’t know if they make it any more. Gyc430 . The new ones are probably better. I did make my own battery trays to fit bigger batteries. Clear lexan from Home Depot and painted flat black to match. The stock trays don’t fit many options. I can fit any size battery. I use stock spur size. But it’s a metal version. It’s from Kershaw designs. I don’t think they are in business anymore. There might be a traxxas metal version of the gear that works, not 100% sure. And yes on speed pinion.

@Paul-815 Жыл бұрын
First thanks for watching. I appreciate it. It took a lot of runs and practice. A few years of messing with. I started slow, because it feels like it’s on ice. I use bsr foam purple 1/8, that helps. Slowing the steering servo a little helps with it feeling not so twitchy. Check that the front shocks aren’t rubbing on camber link. If so shim. If you’ve crashed disconnect servo and go thru hole front end and make sure everything moves freely if not it will not go straight. I speak from experience. Take your time start slow. Good luck

Bro how do you keep it’s so straight ?? I’ve having trouble going even under 50mph with my xo-1 it’s all over the road. Steering is super touchy and it wants to shoot left or right when I hit the gas. I have upgraded aluminum steering kit, upgraded servo. New dished wheels. I’ve tried everything, nothing is broken. Everything is tight :(
@Paul-8152 жыл бұрын
Well it’s not just one thing that makes it go straight. Turning down servo speed will help with the twitchy feeling. Getting into throttle slower helps. Un hook servo and make sure everything in the front moves smooth, no sticking or binding. I’ve had a part not fit correctly and cause binding and I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t go straight. Shocks need to be equal with Spring tension and rebound. I also added a 4mm shim on the front shock standoff. My spring was rubbing on upper turnbuckle. Also not sure if car is new or not. Make sure bearings are ok. Check chassis that it’s not bent. Hope this helps

@@Paul-815 sorry. I'm not good at English so I use Google Translate. "It's a great run! And it's very stable! Congratulations!" ごめんなさい。私は英語が得意ではないのでGoogle翻訳を使います。 「素晴らしい走りですね!!しかもとても安定してる!おめでとうございます!」

How did you keep it in on a straight run.. most loose control.
@Paul-815 Жыл бұрын
Lots of practice. Fine adjustments. Make sure your car has no damage. If something is binding in front end it will never go straight. Everything needs to move smoothly. Purple bsr foam tires are way better then stock. Start slow and get it going straight. Good luck.

@@Paul-815 You know what Traxxas advertise the 1G X0-1 to do 100mph out of the box how do they do it because most xo-1 videos of people running out of the box can't even keep the car control on the road and end up crashing it or going air born or something else.

CONGRATS on reaching a speed of 155 MPH with AN RC CAR! It really does take a lot of time and dedication to manage to keep it in a straight line let alone being able to go up against actual cars, so bro u have to tell me is this stock or did I change something in the car, I don’t want the specific details just overall what u changed (esc,gearings, motor, servo , transmitter etc). ❤️
