0.6 bar on standard internals was 100% reliable which is as is in the video, just uprated Injectors needed. Had a 2nd setup with lowered compression and more boost. Ran up to 0.8 with no issues. 0.9 I ran into issues. Piston ring failures.

He did everything Himself but if you had to go do it as a shop for parts and labour between R 25k to R35 k depending on the parts you choose to use

He didn't have any issues running the car at 0.8 bar boost he only had issues when he went up to 0.9 and he was beating on it quite regularly 😂

We need more details on this build please. What's done inside the engine, management, is it a bolt on kit and most important has it improved on the top speed?

It has improved top speed yes, factory limiter has been removed, as far as I know it's on a dictator for fueling, not a bolt on Kit, Ricardo built the turbo manifold and boost piping himself

I drove a 2011 Figo last year for 6 months. It's the only car that has left a lasting impression on me. This is coming from someone that has driven plenty of small cars, including the Polo Vivo, Nissan Micra and the Suzuki Swift. All these cars don't hold the candle to the Figo's handling, power delivery and the steering feel. I sometimes wonder what the Fiesta ST is like.

The Figo is a brilliant car for its price. Yes performance could've been better on the N/A 1.4 petrol but they are overall great cars especially handling with factory suspension. The ST is great but really wish Ford South Africa would've at least attempted a EcoBoost Figo in this shape

@@BrandanHewitt im in the process of turboing my 2018 figo. Problem i got is routing the intake coz I'm going to have to mount the turbo at the back of the engine. Im also looking just for 200nm, so a 50nm increase

Your going to have to build a log manifold and route the boost piping up and over the valve cover like Ricardo unless your going to relocate the battery to the boot then you'll have space
