nah thc isnt water soluble, however some thc is lost when a small amount attaches itself to the carcinogens that are filtered out but its such a small amount that it really wont matter in the end

My understanding was that THC is not water soluble...right? I've heard that a lot, and I've even read it in a few respectable sources. But then the study listed on this website, comparing the cannabinoid/tar ratio of joints/bongs/vaporizes, says that "This suggests that water filtration is actually counterproductive, apparently because water tends to absorb THC more readily than noxious tar"

baseball is sort of right, but spending 1000 dollars on a bong is pointless, nobody can deny that. hell even a high quality one is only 300 maybe 400 dollars. i've got a great glass bong for 30 bucks, its not a roor or a phx, but it gets the job done just fine. you just gotta find a good pipe shop who sell their own glass, they'll have great glass bongs for alot lower the price.

chad000: Not, only a lesser potent form of THC are water soluble and the potent form (delta-9) are fat soluble and doesn't mix with water. Nikotine though are watersoluble and would be filtered through the water. But too many cambers and too many corners are bad for a bong, it can be too complicated Also the cleaning must be crap, my two-chamber bubbler are enough for me And $1000?? Pfff...
