This 2023 Kia Stinger GT2 Grand Tourer is a limited edition beauty, packed with tasteful mods! 2023 was the last year for the Kia Stinger. A 368hp twin turbo touring car is no slouch, but the BMW engineers left A LOT of room for power gains. Tony made a 2.5 hr drive down to Indianapolis to show off his new Kia Stinger mods! From the carbon fiber trim down to the 7th fuel injector he added (CPI) this thing is done perfectly. It's a sleeper! It is way faster than mine was! I introduced Tony to Lozic a year or so ago as well as Steve, an anonymous subscriber who has a 2024 G70 (he got a new one). Steve at one point had 550 AWHP. Needless to say, A LOT of work has been put into developing these Lozic tunes, both TCU and ECU. Lozic also has moved to Temcula, CA. He is tuning on US fuel, when I worked with him, we were doing everything overseas. I will say, it feels much better now and no longer makes that whistling noise under standard loan on take off.

I have basically the same setup in a 2019, but I’m running 75% ethanol and hav the BEF from BMS with the EK1 and map 6 settings and the BEF takes it next level. I’m running: 19 3.3T, JB4 map 6 custom, BMS Sxth BEF E85, BMS intercooler, CPI kit, Fuel-It! E85 kit , K&N cold air, e65, Lozic TCU stage 3, K&N cold air, Denso step 2 plugs, Ark Sec downpipes, BMS rear diff brace, BMS OCC, VR BOVs, Velossa scoops, 245/40/19 front 265/35/19 rear. 😂 my bad I was still watching the video 🙌🏼

Very nice setup. Where did you get the "Stinger" decals that cover the rear side reflectors. I have some on mine but they're starting to wear off. Id like to get new ones for my Panthera Stinger, but can't find them anywhere. I can only find generic ones that cover the reflectors.

Glad to see another video from you brother. No matter how bad your situation is. There's someone within a quarter mile of you at any given time that wishes your situation was theirs. That's how bad their situation is. So before I got the scorpion a test drove a g70 because most reviewers had that as the better car. I was not impressed with it and on top of it I am 5'10. I couldn't sit behind myself in that car so if I did not like the stinger I was going to go back to Genesis dealership and say listen. I'll buy this car but anytime I take my family somewhere I need a Palisades. The Stinger it was like no other car I'd driven before And the decision was easy. They had an Alfa Romeo. Gulia quadrifolia At the one dealership with 40,000 mi on it that I was considering but they knew nothing about it and there's certain things that need to be done to that car cuz of manufacturing defects and wiring harness issues that they knew nothing about. So in a way I'm happy cuz I've had zero issues with the stinger other than going through tires where I bet? guila would have been problem after problem

I will say, the Stinger is impressive when it came to leg and head room, even my 6’7” brother fit in it perfectly, and that’s not an easy task. Rear seats fold down with a hatch, it’s like a perfect GT car! The GTS would be sick with a matte PPF film and some carbon fiber all over it with black wheels 😁

The guy that sold me the car was like 6'8 look like a lineman in the NFL. I had him sit in his seating position and sit behind himself and it was no issue. Now the feet under the front seats can be a little bit but I'm telling you the g70 I couldn't get out of that backseat without struggling and I'm 5'10. I have the scorpion edition Has the black rims on it just like the video. I have the carbon steel gray with black interior all-wheel drive. So the one cool thing is since they only made a limited amount of scorpion since there wasn't the demand, there's only 16 others in the world with my setup

I’m running this on a 2019 G70 and with the Map 6 custom adjustments to use pre-boost, fuel and duty bias and I am spinning at 60mph with a downshift and total throttle. The compete e85 is great, but the last piece after everything else was the Burger BEF w the SXTH and then the map 6 adjustments. It’s night and day from map 4 e30. 2019 G70 3.3T, JB4, BMS Sxth BEF, BMS intercooler, CPI kit, Fuel-It! E85 kit , K&N cold air, e85, Lozic TCU stage 3, K&N cold air, Denso step 2 plugs, Ark Sec downpipes, BMS rear diff brace, BMS OCC, VR BOVs, Velossa scoops, 245/40/19 front 265/35/19 rear

For someone looking to mod their Stinger and is fully stock atm. If you were to create a mod list from scratch. What would you add to it and also in what order would you add them? I’m talking Air Intakes, JB4, exhaust, Oil CC, spark plugs etc. ?

I would do the catch can first. Then Takeda intakes with snorkels, followed by a cat back exhaust or secondary mid pipes. After you do the exhaust you will want to get the JB4, or else you will start going into limp mode. Just those simple bolt ons you can run e30 and feel a massive power gain in the seat. That’s one thing that makes this car so great. And it won’t even feel like you’re being hard on it, it will run like it should have from the factory. The next weak link is the transmission tune, you’ll want to go for that bc there’s a slight delay when you launch the car with oem TCU. Kia has a 100k mile warranty so they were very conservative on this car, that and it’s a touring car. I think the JB4 is good enough personally, but if you want the most power then you’ll want a ECU flash.

I have a 2023 GT2 thats fully modded but stock ECU still due to the internet saying it will destroy my cats ect. What do you think about this?? i want my car to have pops and bangs so badly. i have mbrp exhaust and ark dp’s right now, injen intakes n add w1 pro BOV’s, and still absolutely 0 pops. So yes, I was in the same boat. Your secondary cats are gone, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Primary cats, yes it will wear them out faster, but there are a lot of variables there. You can have it tuned for comfort or eco to have no burbles and or ask for a mild burble tune. A lot of that is going to depend on how you drive. The pops are a little addicting , but if you’re constantly doing it, yes they can melt etc. I know lots of people with pops and bangs who have had no issues for over 3 years. You just need to know what pops and bangs are, it’s fuel exploding after the valves close so it will heat those cats up a lot. The OEM cats are built pretty well, it’s a twin turbo after all. It’s not reasonable to constantly be popping all over town, it’s something you can control with your foot. I wish Terry would be able to add a feature of pops on the JB4 so you can turn it on and off. Sounds like he is making some moves right now and is getting to the TCU, it will eventually happen. With a flash tune, it’s always going to be there in sport mode, but not under normal driving, only WOT / higher RPMs and letting off accelerator. Hope this helps

Understandable question. His best draggy solo time is 3.5 sec. However, if you watched the entire video you would know why. But we have some adjustments coming along with Lozic’s AWD TUNE. Right now we just TCU tune.
