It's gotta still be the Anthony Dissomma Small Block Ford , almost the same as the 478 ci he built for Fletcher Cox

This car was awesome with a blower. But that’s just incredible et and mph with the turbo combo. Can you do a combo interview or anything ? Would be killer to know some specs on that sbf!! Of course maybe it’s all secret squirrel stuff too. Thanks for the great vids

Same as Fletcher Cox- Dissomma uses DRE/Weston Machined blocks , all billet small block Ford, All the machine work is done by Charlie at Weston. He machined the block then sets up for a 60mm cam and has a 10˝ deck height with standard bore spacing. They used MBE billet heads on it and also used Edelbrock SC1 heads custom port design. They use a 60-millimeter custom spec Bullet camshaft. His is custom spec stroke and bore combination. The crankshaft is a billet Callies crank.they use GRP rods and Diamond pistons each with customer supplied specs. The engine gets a Jesel and Manley valvetrain , the valves are all Manley and the rockers, lifters and belt drive are all Jesel. The engine also has Trend pushrods. From there DiSomma uses either a billet intake or a Hogan sheet metal intake depending on the combination. The 478 SBF also features Clevite bearings, Total Seal piston rings, a Moroso oiling system and is topped off with Atomizer Racing fuel injectors.

Do you think it could run a 5?
@andymanson44462 жыл бұрын
Car shut off at 5.21 sec in run. Definitely would have been a 5 sec run mph down 15

Did you mean 5.91?

No car shut of at 5.21 just past the 1000 foot

@@andymanson4446 I was about to comment on that last race. Your speed was definitely down by almost 10 mph from the previous run. I knew something went wrong. Anyway, I enjoy watching this race and especially the Fords like yours. Keep at it and I will be watching and supporting.

Reeces Camaro has a wedge 4.6 bore Big Block Chevy - the title of the video is fastest small block Ford
@RacingRon472 жыл бұрын
Calling the setup Reese had a SBC is laughable at best, Andy’s car is more impressive.

Dave Adkins went 5.97 on radials 4 years ago with a small block. Don't come with no stipulations since the title of this vid is fastest small block on radials.

Pretty sure Dave still has a Baker LS - title for the video is fastest small block Ford

@@thomasdaddio741 they changed the title. It didn't say that when I posted my comment. Hence the last part of my first comment.
