This was a cracking race. I still remember watching it on BBC (the last year they covered SBK). I seem to remember that the deal was that they showed highlights of Race 1 and Race 2 was shown live. Toseland deserved the title that year, but part of me wanted Vermulen to win it, as while everyone else had ups and downs through the year, he quietly racked up the points.

Good times, but the 750 inline 4 and 1000 v2 epoch was my favourite. It has the same feeling as the B class in Rally
