WorldSkills Mastercam Tutorial | Holemaking Operations

This episode creates multiple different drilling operations for the hole features on the part. This includes the spot drilling to pre-drill the hole and ensure the drilling toolpath does not walk off or break and using a Drill/Counterbore Drill Cycle. Next, another Drill toolpath to use the tap drill and created a Peck Drilling cycle to easily remove material. The last Drill toolpath we created was for the Tapping Operation for the holes.
Lastly, we looked at deburring the part using the Model Chamfer Toolpath. We examined how to add a tool from the library in the middle of the toolpath, as well as looking at the specific Model Chamfer parameters and how they can be used to break sharp edges along the model.
