Prowler is actually one of the most fun, and best designed, wooden coasters in the world. And I’ve ridden most all of the well known ones. It puts an enormous smile on my face the whole time. Long live the Prowler.

Joe Smith, how about a retracking or so rework at least, this ride has gotten noticeably worse in the last 3 years... the layout is very unique and fun, but not when you feel like you just got the shit kicked out of you.

Kevin Stanza I just rode it 5 hours ago, and it’s a little rougher than it used to be, but not bad at all compared to all other woodies. People sometimes relate quick directional changes (an integrated design of the ride) to being rough. But it’s quite smooth when you anticipate the sudden turns. I really love it. I actually really like that “shit kicked outta you” feeling, but I’m an old school Arrow Development guy. If it doesn’t hurt a bit, then it’s not intense enough 😉. That’s just me. If you think Prowler is getting a bit to intense you, you can always opt to ride near the front of the train where it’s much less intense.

@@joesmith389 it's definitely got a great design and the idea of staying low to the ground the entire time is super cool, but I have to agree that those whips are super jerky, not the fun kind like Mystic Timbers (also made by GCI). Some enthusiasts say there's a lot of airtime too but I only really noticed one point where I got any airtime. I still enjoy it for what it is, but I prefer Mamba or Patriot if I go to WoF.

I agree, I live in Colorado and we've only got two woodies, this last year I rode Prowler for the first time as my first coaster in 2020. Since my home parks never opened. I was lucky enough to get thirteen rides on Prowler over two days, no regrets. Great woodie and glass smooth.

Had so much fun working at this fantastic GCI in 2020. Such a great ride and an awesome ride to work too. This is one of my favorite GCIs for sure, it’s got a great layout and great airtime and laterals and keeps its speed really well. I even prefer it to Mystic Timbers.

Good to hear. While it had the hills that should deliver airtime, it was hard to tell from the video if it actually had enough speed to accomplish such. I haven't been there in ages, and haven't ridden it yet.

to me it seems to be the exact same ride with the acception that it changes course at the end but the final brek run is essentially the same with out the themeing.

This park isn't in my tops list yet but looking at their coaster collection, it really becomes noticeable in the 2010s that Cedar Fair stopped caring about it. CF really needs to address their lower tier parks in the 2020s.

Which is a shame to because as someone who call this my local park it started getting a lot of love in the late 2000s with a lot of new rides and attractions then it all just came to an immediate stop and nothing really significant has been added for a decade.

My uncle works as a gardener at worlds of fun. He thinks there is going to be a huge steel coaster coming in a few years, but who knows. With Zambezi Zinger there too, this park will become a lot better

I'm so glad they added this to WoF and closed down Timber Wolf. That ride always made me feel like it was gonna fly off the rails. It was so rough but I luv the Prowler. I remember my highschool buddies went the year they opened it up. It was such a blast

I rode this the year it opened. A nice ride from GCI. I loved the trees in the background. Kind of made this coaster a smaller cousin of the Beast, seeing both rides are at Cedar Fair parks.

The prowler is one of my all time favorite coasters it has a great first drop and it is pretty fast and there wire some bunny hills at the end. I 100% recommend this coaster

Thought it was gonna be worse than it was it was dope. I got bad anxiety but on the ride the only part i got anxious on was going up the first hill ngl im not a roller coaster person at all this is the only coaster i rode when i went here. For those of you scared of the prowler don’t be scared me and my friend were scared as heck getting ready to ride this and my mom was gonna ride it with us but she got tired and didn’t so we had to do it solo and my heart started to pound on the up and then we went down and I couldn’t stop screaming “this is awesome!” My friend couldn’t see the ride tho he’s glasses were on so he had to hold them on so we’re are gonna have to go again! and after the prowler if your doing rides in order you should probably go on the spinning dragons next

Cedar_Point 7142 we’ll get a new coaster once Timber Wolf’s retrack is finished and the park’s infrastructure is improved some more, I’ve got my eye on the park’s 50th anniversary in 2023 being the start of an expansion plan for Worlds of Fun.
