People talking about how he said “bottles on bottles and models on models, dollars on dollars” he’s making reference to y’all’s favorite and matter of fact 99% of rappers who talk about this on most if not all of their songs. He also talked about how this “don’t help when his souls wanna holla and he’s dealing with drama” He points this out in a lot of his songs how people alway talking about money, material, and women. Listen to his song “Ain’t Talkin Bout Nuthin” matter fact all of his songs but especially that one and you will know and understand why he said what he said in this song.

It shouldn't matter what audience he's targeting his focus ought to be Christ 1st before all men and women. Through discernment many can see that the spirit of the Lord is not in this rap business where He'd be the primary point of focus not Lecrae. We must decrease & let Christ increase.

For all those who have problems with Lecrae’s music, let God be the judge. Your understanding of how YOU THINK someone should walk out their purpose are only YOUR THOUGHTS. Again, let God be the judge. Let each person live out their purpose in the way that GOD called them to, not the way that people, albeit, people who are IMPERFECT beings think they should. People want to preach so much but they constantly act like they’re all knowing without even realizing how they may be slandering others. If you really have a problem, seek God in prayer about it and if you have a conviction not to listen to it, DON’T. Easy

Let's get this straight now: Lecrae is not a Christian rapper. He is a rapper who is a CHRISTIAN. He is spreading positivity and God's word. He is appealing to the new generation who is only in love with Trap music. Even Beyonce did it with her new album. God bless you Lecrae, keep living your life and fulfilling God's will.
@persiah77796 жыл бұрын
For all the believers out there that are sayin Lecrae ain't the same as the old Lecrae, you are missing what he is doing. He's changed his approach to target this generation, who will laugh at you, ignore you, avoid you, even curse you for trying to preach at them. What he is doing is giving "milk" in these new songs instead of "whole food" because gen Z is so far away from God they need to be witnessed to differently than in previous generations. We are in the end times people! Teens and 20s growing up these days have seen nothing but hypocrites, fakes, liars, and snakes in the American church. When this music catches their attention and they start following Crae as an artist, they will eventually find/crave his songs that have "whole food" instead of "milk". This is how today's generation will be reached! As a dj, I play a lot of non-Christian music because that is what the people show up to hear, however, when people realize that I love Jesus and I'm not judgmental like most Christians they've met, it gives me a chance to share my testimony and witness to people that would otherwise never have been near someone who is a believer. Noone is perfect and this generation can't stand people who pretend to be! Lecrae is human and people feel his authenticity. Keep your head up and your feet movin big brother!

Yeah man a wicked generation will hate you if you preach them the gospel. Let's submit to the sinners like a coward and dress up like a worldly dj then when they're cool with us because we tickled their flesh we will tell them about our testimony you know nothing too offensive or judgmental though like calling them to repent or perish or getting too much into sin, wouldn't want their demons to get upset. And instead of telling them to obey God and live holy, we will tell them that nobodies perfect and deceive them to think that we all live in willful sin I mean hey I'm a christian and I'm sitting here playing you wordly music after all, don't feel too bad, get convicted and fall on your face before a holy God realizing your evil, headed for hell come to Christ and receive forgiveness for all the sins you've ever committed. If your playing sinful music your already a mixed messenger. How could you judge them for listening to worldly music with a huge beam in your eye? They'll look at you like the biggest hypocrite on the earth. Did Noah dress like Barney before God flooded the whole earth, you don't think that generation was wicked? He was a preacher of righteousness. Jesus said Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
@kamisensei16166 жыл бұрын
The reason we gen z and younger millennials are what you say “ further away from god” is because the idea of god has become more far fetched than before in the 21st century. Were using our brains more and doing our research instead of allowing us to be told what is truth just because it seems more beneficial when death comes or because it’s okay to be on the safe size and just say you believe in god to avoid burning in a lake of fire. Hats off to this man for doing his best to teach the youth what he believes is the “truth” but your comment and people who think the way you do are what I dislike the most about western society. The fact that y’all can’t let religion out of anything. If we had an atheist president in the States y’all probably would go crazy and call him the anti christ. I highly suggest you do some research just a tiny bit is enough. In fact I’ll recommend you a book, its titled “the skeptics annotated Bible “ & “ The god delusion” written by Richard Dawkins.

lecrae is an anomaly. I've been a fan of his music for years and in my opinion his music is great. Everyone makes mistakes. that much is true. His words in these songs are always positive. And that's a fact. Godworks in mysterious ways. For all we know this man is being used to reach a new platform. Jesus walked among the people of this world speaking of God and repentance, redemption and hope. If He would have chose to keep what he knew to be true, to himself, not even one of us would be saved. Lecrae is doing the same. What God is doing with this man is a miracle. His life and his music point people to Jesus. People are so judgemental in life. If you feel like our brother lecrae is doing something wrong then don't complain just pray for him.

You guys don’t understand why Lecrae uploaded this on worldstar. It wasn’t because he’s become “of the world” or “lost his faith,” it’s because he genuinely has a heart for people that are lost, and by using this platform he is spreading the word to the ones who need God the most. You stuck up Christians who believe that he is a sellout are absorbed in your own self-righteousness, and I admire lecrae for having compassion for non-believers.

Lecrae keep going. Jesus is working and reaching people through your work. This music is reaching the types of people who favor trap styled music.

It's okay my man I understand What you saying. But at this point it looks like he's found a way to still be apart of the world. Period. He got real comfortable like many of those in the bible who ended up using their blrssings against God and getting humbled.
