I am 51 years old, and I have been watching surfing since 80/90/00/10/20, and I can tell you bro, I never complained to be watching Americans, Hawaiians, Australians, South Africans and others, that has dominated this sport for so long, even though I always appreciated it, because of the magic of the sport…despite who was riding the waves 🌊 or the Nationally of the surfer that has been Champion!!! Any sport around the globe 🌎 it isn’t about the Nationality, or continent that you are coming from, or colour of the skinny, or how much money you have got, or anything like that…Sport it’s about who is the best!!! So specially surfing…it’s about who is the best in what are you doing, and show in real life time, like Live, and Gabriel Medina does that…among others pro surfers, so please enjoy the journey!!! #Chat up the haters!

Veja o exemplo do tênis.

Best show ever! New format is genius. Who thought of that? Corporate or least with Rabbit present (that would be surfers)? You all do the the best possible always. Having Kelly and Mick in the booth was Monumental. And with Joe as the historian telling me Riss the first back to back since Margo. I'm her generation. Remember her so well. Having Lisa Anderson! History lesson to the young! But really.... Kelly is the G.O.A.T. Commentator. Thank you WSL!

You can think what you want about this format (I was super sceptic, too), but from a marketing and strategic point of view, it was a bold but genius move to break with the tradition and just try something new. And guess what, I'd say it worked out just fine. I was excited to watch and could get used to crowning the champs like that, preferably at Pipe, of course, but this might even be in the cards once everything is back to normal.

strider comment that he never would have said to a man. Must have been her coach or husband that turned her head around after the heat loss.Strider can you see how sexist that comment is?

What did he say?
@noob_improove3 жыл бұрын
First, you are misrepresenting the facts. Here is the moment you speak about: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sF6cip2bqNmaoZo He asked "You really did mentally get it back together after that first heat. Who was that? Was it all you or was that your team on the beach, ...". She than said that her team and especially her husband helped a lot. The interviewer did not mention her husband at all. Second, it would have been totally fine to ask a man the same questions: who/what helped him to mentally come back. There is nothing wrong with asking about what was the support system, and it's a chance for the athlete to say thanks to their loved ones and their team. But... If you want to see sexism everywhere and in everything - it's your right, of course, especially if you like turning happy moments into something bitter for no reason.
