BIEN, MANIKA. We in LATINAMERICA support Adriana Diaz but that doesn´t mean that we don´t recognize Manika as a very good world table tennis player. We recognize her talent and we also enjoy her style and efficency whenever we see her playing. Excellent performance against Wang Manyu. Greetings to Manika and India from Perú, in LATINAMERICA.

Stop crying and making excuses. You don’t determine what style she should be able to play , if Wang is not good enough to beat that style then props to Batra. Sound like a sore loser

In this case one must play very very aggressive. For females can be hard since you need spin on the attack but females don't really play with much spin. It seems Wang is not very experienced against this style. Incredible.

Firstly, I want to congratulate Batra for defeating the world’s number two Wang Manyu. This is indeed a high-caliber victory that deserves celebration. However, I must point out that due to the fierce competition and ever-changing selection system within the Chinese women’s table tennis team, the pressure on her is immense. It’s unimaginable that this loss by Wang Manyu could likely cost her the chance to represent China in the women’s singles table tennis competition at the Paris Olympics. This has been her dream for the three years following the Tokyo Olympics. Frankly, it’s regrettable that just because she lost to a non-Chinese player in this match, her capabilities are being questioned. I am also shocked that the current world number two cannot compete in the Olympics singles. I understand that everyone has their preferred players, and perhaps you’re not a fan of Wang Manyu, which is normal. But I believe if you truly follow table tennis, you would acknowledge Wang Manyu’s excellence. I hope this dedicated young woman can relieve some of her pressure and achieve her dreams soon. Wishing her the best of luck.❤

thats is exactly how to beat the chinese. you must disrupt their rhythm, leading to their frustration, then unforced errors, then defeat. in most cases, chinese players are like robots, well-oiled machines, but since they are still human, they can be beaten. good job to all who studies well and leant to adapt and change. even if i am a chinese, i think tthe chinese must understand this and adopt accordingly. their old school teachings!
@percival6078 ай бұрын
I was as shocked as the commentators lol. Batra style of play is seen more often in the semi pro instead of the top level but one can see how little was wang experience agains long pips and inverted. It makes it harder since females pro dont really put a lot of spin on their attacks so it makes their forehand much lower trajectory and die on the net. It was truly shocking to see her getting dismantled in auch a way.

Wang Manyu was not beat by her opponent. She was simply beat by the Chinese Table Tennis Association. Shame on CTTA! Now you can ship Chen Meng to the Olympics women's single. I know CTTA is still working on getting Wang Yidi to replace Wang Manyu in Women's Group. When a team no longer values talent but money, this team is not far away from collapse.

the name or brand of the rubber matters little, it is enough to have it modified, with a regular lp on the block the ball returns "no spin" at most to a slight back.
