Love Saranda, we live Central Belgrade and went during pandemic, the locals want an airport 🛫 understandably, but we liked the fact, it wasn't overrun, due to no airport (fly to Corfu and its 18€ on hydtofoil, takes 20 min.. Eastern Europeans holiday there, its substantially cheaper than Greece etc. Never met 1 Brit in 10 nights, heaven 😂. We swam in it.

Do you have to go through customs when going from corfu to Sarandë? Thank you again sooo much for this great video!

Hi! I'm planning on staying in southern Albania for some days in the beginning of May. Right now my plan is to stay in Saranda for 3 days, Ksamil for 2 days, and then Corfu for 3 days. But I'm still unsure. Maybe you have some recommendations! I'd love to visit beaches, and I like old towns and historic sites. Great video!
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'd say Saranda 3 days is enough (also visit Butrint from Saranda). I would skip Ksamil, it's horribly crowded. You could spend more time in Corfu instead. Or visit Gjirokaster and the Blue Eye instead of Ksamil!

Thank you! There is a bus to Saranda, which leaves from the North South Albania Bus Terminal (you can take a bus to the terminal or take a taxi from the city center of Tirana - it’s not that far). We bought our ticket when we got to the station. It’s chaotic but people will help you find the ticket booth and bus. There’s at least 6 buses a day or so. Hello! Im going to saranda in a couple weeks, and your boat trip you did looks great, but i can't find anything like it to book 😢 were you able to just get this from the docks? Or did you prebook? Any recommendations?
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
We didn't prebook the tour. You can just talk to the salesmen at the harbour (there are like 100 different boat companies that offer the tour). Just make sure to talk to a few before making a decision! Not all of them are great;...
@ylva9075 Жыл бұрын
Hi! Do you remember the boat company that you went with?😍
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
No we don’t and also wouldn’t recommend the one we went with! (The boat driver didn’t speak English and was rude). If you head to the pier, you’ll find plenty of boat operators! Maybe look a bit around before you choose one
@luismartinez-ue4fv6 ай бұрын
Hey guys how much does the boat tours cost you ? And to which beaches of the ones you showed do they take you ?
@worldwildhearts4 ай бұрын
They all go to the same spots! I think they were called Krorëza Beach and Kakoma Beach. Just talk to the boat tour companies that line the harbor there and compare the prices. It wasn't too expensive (maybe 15-25 US$ each?)
@weeeehhhhh Жыл бұрын
Hi! Do you remember which boat company you booked and how much was it? Thank you!
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
We went with a random one around the boulevard, but wouldn't really recommend them as our captain barely spoke English. Your best bet is to walk around the boulevard and talk to different companies! It was pretty cheap... around 20USD per person if I remember correctly
