Dinant is one of the most beautiful little towns in Belgium. It's a local's favorite and a great place for those looking to explore Belgium deeper and beyond the most popular tourist cities in Flanders.

I live In Belgium and went there twice, visited all the things u talked about, and it literally became my favorite city in whole Belgium! By the way thank u so much for talking about Belgium, since nobody really give their attention to it.

You did all these things in a day? Wow that's impressive. I will be visiting Belgium soon and have added Dinant to our itinerary. I can't wait!!

Enjoy your visit! It's possible to fit in a lot in a day as the town is so compact, but definitely better to stay two days!

Dinant reminds me of Cochem, how they both have onion dome church, hill top castle, bridge, and they are both narrowly built alongside the riverbank.

Bruges is one of the most magnificent places I have ever been to, and I believe that right now in the fall it is even more so. The city's medieval character, the hot chocolate, the peace, and everything else makes you feel as though you are in a movie.

Just found your channel when I was looking for what to do in Brussels. I love your videos n I watched everyone in Belgium plus Porto. All the tips are great. Mai I suggest how to get to the attractions like bus/ tram numbers etc. good luck to you. Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for your support! 😊 in Belgian cities we mainly walked around actually! That’s because most attractions are just so close to one another 😚

Going to Belgium for one night next month (February) with my 18 yo son. We will be coming from Luxembourg so Dinant will be somewhat on the way. We are considering Dinant (as well as Namur and Durbuy) but are also considering taking the extra couple hours and going across country to Bruge (or Ghent). We will only have one night (24 hours) before we move on to the Netherlands. We're not really into museums but do like a vibrant walkable town center that is lively and picturesque. Would you recommend we travel the extra few hours (for Bruge or Ghent) or hit one of the towns on the way (like Dinant, Namur or Durbuy)? Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

Are you coming by car? The most vibrant picturesque towns would be Bruges or Ghent. Dinant and Durbuy are a lot smaller, but they are also very cute. You won't need so much time to walk around the town center there. I'd skip Namur, it's not that interesting

Great video. We will be making our way from Amsterdam to Luxembourg. We were thinking about going to Bruges, Brussels, dinant, and durbuy on our way to lux. Would a night in each city work? Or would that be too rushed?
@worldwildheartsАй бұрын
Thanks! Yes that works. Dinant and Durbuy are pretty small so you can visit a lot in a day! For Brussels and Bruges you might want to take an extra day if you can.

Very nice. Is it possible to reach the various castles via public transportation?
@worldwildhearts5 ай бұрын
No it’s not possible to reach those that are outside of Dinant without a car

Thanks for making the video so beautifully and with precise info. Could you let me know if there is any bag drop service available in Dinant as I want to keep the bag and explore the city.
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
Not that we’re aware of. It’s a pretty small town… maybe you could drop it in a hotel if you ask beforehand?
