Yes they are free but the lines are long so I ended up buying water bottles all weekend lol. You'll probably have to time it right to avoid the huge crowds around the water stations

parents take little kids all the time. its a friendly festival and open to all ages. Last year I took my 14 year old niece for one day to see Blackpink and she had an awesome time. Make sure if you plan on camping at the festival its only for 18+ so she wont be able to.
