Yes, sadly. The swearing in some of the soundbanks apparently caused offense. How? I do not really know myself - if it was that bad wouldn't simply bumping the 10+ rating to Kids to Adults fix that without needing to remove content? You can easily put it back by simply creating a directory and placing the named files of the removed content from the PlayStation version. Pcgamingwiki has a lot fixes for the censorship.

And the Dreamcast version as well which contains much higher quality soundtracks.

Weird, i've only seen this game and worms 4 mayhem get censored when it was remade (for worms 4: mayhem) or rereleased (Worms Armageddon on Steam, despite bringing the censored stuff back being easy.)
