@lolmetswhathappeneduhhh20295 жыл бұрын
@@CreekFishingAdventures you'll definitely be surprised, especially if they are good and fresh. I bring a cooler with ice and grab 2 boxes of nightcrawlers when I go. They are the only worms I use. The Canadian nightcrawlers are rather fat and lively. Their size and wriggling seem to really attract bass. They are also pretty good at catching channel cats up to about 10 lbs. They are about $1.50 higher than other worms, but they are well worth it. My PB lmb was caught this year on one of those.

I was at a very active creek one day, fish jumping everywhere, and was throwing a chatterbait with a cool looking minnow on it, and then throwing a rooster tail. Maybe one peck on the chatter and nothing else. I then found some nightcrawlers someone had abandoned. They still looked fresh so I started throwing one. Immediate bites and caught my best smallmouth ever, then a rock bass. Went back the next morning and used them again and caught a decent sized carp with those same worm. The worm bowl had a picture of Bill Dance on it. Musta been why they worked lol

You're a good caster! I am always amazed how lousy I still cast. No accuracy at all. You inspire me to practice
@clanrobertson72005 жыл бұрын
Keep your shoulders fixed and cast from the elbow and flicking the wrist. Get a couple of different size rubber weights and practice in the yard. Get weights that match the lures that you want to use. Practice side arm flips like getting up under overhanging limbs. Practice makes perfect. Don’t over think it use mussel memory and stare at the spot you want to hit. Practice with no more than a foot or less of line. Let the whip action of the tip for it the right amount of energy for the cast . The tighter the target the shorter the line to the tip and vise versa. The old professor Good fishing

Just a suggestion big guy use nothing under 15 pound test. I use 20 and 25 when fishing that way. The reason I do is because the diameter and fishing line is so much smaller then it used to be. Even in the higher pounds test it's never really affected any of my fishing even catching bluegill at times. Plus I would try using a leader I never used to use those liters however when I started using the liters I hardly ever had my line to break. And I really just started doing that this year and it's new to me but I really like it. The reason I started fishing that way as I lost so many fish sometimes you would get a big carp or big drum or catfish and they would break me off at times. It's really hard to catch them fish on a 10lb test. Even when I smile mouth fish anymore I don't go less than 15 pound test because I've had them break it off at 12 pound test. You do a good job on your videos I enjoyed them a lot. By the way I caught a big striper the other night off of bluegill and it was 20 lb easy and I brought him in on 20 lb test with a 30 lb steel leader so I'm saying it really does work and my real was about the same size as what you were using
