Worship Leaders react to Kanye West's 'Jesus Is King' album (full)

Ecstatic with what's happened! This is our live reaction.
Kitsy Ruth (my sister) and I have been Christians for a long time, and are in the worship ministry of the church in India. I'm actively leading a fellowship and Kitsy is training to do so. We've been brought up in a firm Christian believing family, one that never encouraged listening to such songs as Kanye used to make. So we haven't even heard a song of his before (maybe we did on the radio or in public but didn't engage as fans or know what was his music). Some things we heard about Kanye was contradictory to the nature of God and His Kingdom. So, hearing he made a gospel album was a beautiful shock. We wanted to check out its validity, and let ya'll see what happened live.
In this video we largely react to the lyrics of Kanye's songs from 'Jesus is King', and also give our perspectives on some of the topics surrounding Kanye, non-believers, the church, and what Jesus would expect His followers to do.
We're sooo happy at what God is doing in and through Kanye. God bless him.

Truth Is Kanye is way ahead of everybody else, just imagine Kanye is a new form of Jesus, not in the traditional sense but as life moves on Gods evolution of changing his story to be present with each generation, Kanye is the modern gifted child from God that God made big just so he can deliver a spiritual anthem for the spiritual movement, then once that movement finishes that’s when god comes back, he doesn’t come back until we all come to our senses, cause what would be the whole point if he stopped us in the middle of our collective growth? Anyway, Kanye has a lot of hate mostly because he supports the United States President. It's so sad and I have experienced this hate for myself. By the way, This album was originally called Yandhi. It became Jesus Is King after he became Christian and removed all explicative material from the songs (hence “til Jesus Christ did the laundry) Great reaction! Kanye is amazing

Kanye has also referenced prayer and his Christian upbringing throughout his entire body of work. From Jesus Walks on his debut album, which also included sampling of classic Christian soul music (vocalized highpitched in a style he pioneered known as Chipmunk Soul) that showed up on his second and third studio album aswell. The Life Of Pablo (his 2016 album release) features references to prayer including Father Stretch My Hands and Ultralight Beam which features choir and prayer elements. However, this album marks Kanye’s first absolute devotion to a completely Christian secular album with no profanity or off-color material. It definitely was a risk. Like I said, great reaction and it appears his new upcoming album (DONDA/DONDA:WITH CHILD) will feature gospel elements and is named after his mother who died almost a decade ago. Bless y’all

My view dear sister in pink t shirt when you said these song going to heal the world. Actually its Christ that heals, im not doubting kanye's jesus is king will impact the music industry however kanye songs cant heal..this is his personal message thru music and hoping it to inspire others. It isnt a gospel or theologically sound songs. Read the lyrics and mostly its about his change. This is actually very inspiring. John 15: 18-21 really resonates, great quote. Their enthusiasm, and their understanding of the Christian message and our modern global context helps me see Kanye's significance.
