Everything we ever need is found in the Father and we are his sons and daughters. We are co-heirs with him. We don’t have to beg because he offers abundant life to us for free. God’s love for us is great. He has removed our sins from us and made us whole. He does not treat us as our sins deserve. He doesn’t repay us for our shortcomings. Instead the Lord shows us compassion daily.
As we worship tonight we are reminded that we are sons and daughters of a loving God. He is our Father. Whatever we need is found in him. We don’t have to project the broken images of our earthly Fathers onto him. We can allow him to show us compassion and love us abundantly.
