I did the same thing that #2 Cozart did at 8:40 ... That was the worst pain, and it never heals properly without physical therapy. My knee will still dislocate every once in a while, and I had this injury 6 years ago..

i play catcher, starter and designated hitter, and in a scrimmage just before the games i dislocated my knee... i swear i’ve never been more devasted in my whole life. i’ve missed out on three games and i’m healing as fast as i can before the fourth so i might be able to play again. don’t take playing for granted.

too all the haters, think about this. When a 90 mph pitch is hit, it's coming at you at over 100 mph giving you less than .2 seconds to react. Plus, the players don't have any padding to absorb the impact.

A 90mph pitch takes 0.4 second (faster than the blink of an eye which is .44 seconds) and 95mph takes .35-.375 seconds and 100 is .325 or something crazy like that but still

Ooooow. I remember watching the one at Dodger Stadium on TV a couple seasons back. That slow crumple to the ground was pretty dang scary to watch. And Vin thought it was the necklace giving him a cut, but I think it was lines of blood that had run down his neck whilst he was laying on his back. ... I've never broken a bone; only sudden injury I've ever incurred was a badly-sprained ankle -- and although I have nothing to which to compare it, I can confirm that it hurt like an ass-blasting bitchloid. Took my shoes off and kept walking to class, cuz it was the last day of the semester and I had to turn a 15-page paper in to my prof, and propped my foot up for the 90 minute class. When it was over, I tried to put my shoe back on, and my ankle was so swollen that it wouldn't fit. On crutches for about three weeks. And that was just a sprain gotten while doing a mundane activity (in this case, walking on broken pavement in ill-fitting shoes). I can't IMAGINE how much a sprain hurts when you get it running full-tilt to first base. OW.

The Bryce Harper injury is probably the dumbest injury in both videos....he was on the warning track for a good chunk of time, and you know the difference between the Warning Track and the OF Grass, he knew Doyer stadium has a normal OF wall that just goes in a line, he knew exactly where the wall was and he even saw the wall before running into it, and had time to throw his hands up....Idk if he did it on purpose, but it was incredibly stupid...I've seen guys go face first into the wall but thats when they were playing the ball all the way and actually had a shot at catching it....Shane Victornio and Aaron Rowand come to mind, both guys have made multiple plays running into the wall while making the catch, but neither would be dumb enough to keep running after a ball they had no shot at getting and go face first into the wall while watching the ball
