As a former high school player, I can almost not bear to watch any movie about basketball. I may not have been very good, but I know what bad looks like. Actors dribbling the ball in front of them while watching the ball, people guarding each other from 10 feet away. Basketball is a very fluid, practiced sport, and giving an actor lessons for a week is not going to help much. Latley I've been trying to watch the Netflix series about Magic Johnson, but it's just dreadful. Getting an actor to act on court like Larry Bird is going to require some amazing editing. In one scene, they show the Magic actor walking through a doorway and patting the ham while he ducks to clear it, and 5 minutes later he's in a room with a bunch of executives and he's the same height.

Simple. Pass the ball to the big man (woman) and let them score. You're down by one, no need for those heroics.

Right; if everyone was guarding other players, and double teaming one, then she would have a lane to the basket.

looks like the sequence where she's "revving" was supposed to be in slow motion, but either the movie got rushed or the editors got lazy and they packed it up as it is.
