totally agreed, haha. i'm assuming he left it open to trick the player into trying, becomes it appears to be impossible to do without Yoshi because you'll trigger a kaizo block filled with boo circles on the left if you try to get enough height to make it. apparently getting Yoshi there was the "cheese"? but it really wasn't too difficult to get him there.

Its not really a troll checkpoint since that is the way to go... And the P switch respawns letting you back out the tube (to get small). Dashie had some annotations on that ryu didnt that made him think it was a troll checkpoint that said "real men dont use checkpoints" or some shit.

Actually no, there was a one space gap under there because the bridge had fallen, before the level gets cleared the bridge would block that cheese :/

@@griffintgm9467 No but the bridge is a semisolid. Under the bridge there are blocks. So if your feet are inside the bridge and standing on the blocks below, you can cheese it. You can see at 3:27 you could have jumped from the noteblock on the left straight down under the pipe, landing on the blocks below the bridge, and just walk to the exit.

The level first sets the expectation that it is horrible, then breaks it until the first checkpoint while simultaneously making an incentive for the random endless Mario challenge player not to skip since "you already got a checkpoint, better not lose that progress now" to make the player suffer even more...
