I think it’s your could be the starter, stator, and rectifier. I had the same issue.

@myrightsgone I think I found out it is the starter. I ordered the starter and will replace it and see what happens

If your r1 is anything like mine, make sure to get a valve job done 😅

Yeah, it's an 04, and it probably hasn't even had that done before

@christianbiker7 I would mine was a 06 dropped a valve, just put a new/used 04 engine in it fingers crossed 🤞 had the valves and timing checked 👍🏽 but r1s especially these years are notorious for dropping valves, after shopping ebay for parts and seeing the same thing over and over.

@easye1311 No, I haven't gotten it fixed yet. I ordered a starter for it, and it is supposed to be here this weekend, and I'll put it on and see what happens.
