The crash at 2:22, that was a totally intentional brake-check. Someone does that to me, they’d better be prepared for a pit maneuver. Especially if you have dashcam to prove they instigated this. It would no longer be your fault that they slammed their car into your front end. Don’t swerve and lose control. Have the crash, and use video footage to make the perpetrator own the cost of the crash.

Let me explain this a little better. The front brakes do most of the work as that is where much of the force goes. This is why the front brakes are bigger than the rear. The brakes do not work at full power for front and rear, it would cause the car to slide and fishtail too easily. A way around this is to have a lot of the power for the front with less at the rear. A typical 70/30 split is used and with rear wheel drive, there would be enough engine power to spin the wheels while keeping the front wheels locked. Traction control would use the ABS ring and control the brake to each corner to allow the wheels with zero movement to spin in order to achieve momentum. With sensors on all wheels, the control unit detects with the rear wheel speed increasing, and the front are not moving, then less power is required in order to achieve movement until it just stalls out. Like driving in snow and people want to stop - and apply the brakes - but keep sliding - what do you do? You release the brake pedal to use the grip from the tyres to control it better.
