True as anything mate. Most drivers are out bush in their daily, or a budget weekender they're slowly working on. Yeah there's the odd mug who's got themselves in crazy debt over a spastic rig "for work", but that's hardly a good picture of most drivers out enjoying the tracks.

I love any 4wd 24-7 video but do really like the more budget build rigs getting after it on the hard tracks. That being said I love seeing the super expensive rigs being used as they should. Regardless of what vehicles there are in their videos, I am always jealous of the vehicles Australia/NZ get compared to the offerings here in the States.

@@4WD247 well get it put on either a set of 35s or 315s 33s are dang small for jock to be competitive. My buddy used to have a stock single cab yoter with jacked up torsion bars we managed to get a set of 35s on it im positive jock could get the 35s to clear easy

Mt. Terrible hut is definitely one of the better huts in the VHC. The little pot belly inside the hut has kept us warm on many a cold winters night, especially in the snow. Great views across to Mt. Buller and down to Lake Eildon.

Epic, just epic. Actually, mind blowingly epic is more like it. Two pretty much layman’s rigs roughing it up, toughing it out, going toe to toe, fighting tooth and nail against each other, and against varying and challenging elements, in a truly amazing backdrop - and being mates all along the way. I think at the end of the day this is what most people really came to see because that’s what we’re all about.. getting out there doing it ourselves in our own rigs 😅 Now I have to say, I’m pretty sure I heard these words come out of Jocko’s mouth “I should have bought a Patrol” and I’m not knocking him for that and, in fact as a Toyota man myself, I’ve gone from raising my level of respect for the Patrols to now thinking “maybe I should have bought one too” 😅

I swear that's what the main 4wd action crew have turned into brand new utes off the showroom floor decked out with every bell and whistle or they're close to a 150k build on you're typical fourby you would see like a hilux, landcruiser or patrol etc. This is what the old show should go back to being going out with your mates having fun and exploring new tracks making memories. This is the only thing keeping me watch 4wd action now the mini series of Jock vs Jesse, the expensive builds are nice but cost a pretty penny

HI JOCKO....I have been driving those Micki'es since 2005 , and have found that they need to be closer to 10 PSI to really shine. They are sensitive to even one Psi at lower pressures. Do not feel that it lowers your diff clearance too much. As when they spin up centrefugal force takes them to full height , but when a obstical comes up the tire will envelope it and help pull the rest up and over. These tires cannot be beat in the snow at 4-5 psi .They are so good I even put a set on my Motorhome, 33". It now tackles most any forest road in 2 wheel drive. Sweet AS CHEERS Steve h.
