It’s not your fault if you didn’t know this but Shein is a very horrible company! In the past, they used forced child labor in their factories and while that’s no longer happening, their employees are still treated poorly and not even close to being paid fairly. Shein for the most part is very much the epitome of “you get what you pay for.” A lot of the clothes are poor quality, the cosmetics are mostly for aesthetics (on top of being tested on animals, because China), and you’ve already seen the gamble you’re making when buy those “too good to be true” cheap stationary and fidget items. This video was fun, but don’t fall into the TikTok trend trap; do not support this company.

And how do we know anything about the company now? Does anyone have any evidence to back up what you are accusing, and that they are currently allowing whatever to happen? What about cheap clothes? The water reveal pads are super popular with kids ages 2 - 5 or so. They help develop cause/effect and permanency development. Some of them also have little search and find prompts in them to guide kids to look for specific things/ help train memory as they recall where they saw them earlier. I first heard about Shein from Graveyard Loon and have gotten some resin molds, stickers, glitters, and mini figurines from them. I the biggest thing I do before actually adding an item or purchasing it is read the reviews and look at pictures reviewers have posted. Items are some times much smaller than you would expect. Also, I will not buy multiples of a random item as it seems like you always get the same "random" items. I know it is probably easier to just grab two from the same bin/spot but most people want different ones which is why they are buying more than one of the same product. So far the stickers are awesome, I have the cutting pen and it is okay, I need to practice with it. I haven't had anything that smelled bad, but I did have a couple of dead bugs in one of the bags. But I have had that with Amazon before too.

That was my first opinion of the pop it calculator. I was REALLY interested in that... until I read that it didn't actually work as a calculator. I enjoy fidgeting with my calculator as well(mine is a flexible rubber type thing and it is so fun to just press the keys!). So much disappointment.

I have always seen advertisements for shein and have been so tempted to order from there because of the affordable prices. but I don't think it is worth it if the products are worthy of the 'trash'
@paranoiarpincess2 жыл бұрын
I wonder if the person packing your order thought that you were probably getting them for your two kids and if you get two of the same, the kids won't fight over them. If that was the case they may have been trying to do you a favor. In all likelihood though, they probably just grabbed two off a stack of them and didn't even look at which knes went in.

They don't put any thought into what they're grabbing. They don't have time for it.

Melissa and Doug makes Water WOW! travel activity books for 3+ kids. They don't smell, the colors are brighter, and they also have things to find hidden in the art once you reveal everything. Still only 4 chunky pages but you can choose which one you want from 12 different themes. I'd recommend checking out more Melissa and Doug as well as Ooly for actual children's arts and crafts. Also, Faber Castell has children's art supplies; personally I love their beeswax crayons and the gel sticks are fun. It might be a nice change of pace and give you more to explore. :)

DO NOT SUPPORT SHEIN

She's not.
@breakmyselfJNH2 жыл бұрын
@@fizz4onix507 She kinda has, the video is made and viewed by thousands. There is a sponsor for the video too. Like I have watched her for years and love her content. But as a creator who is constantly surrounded by media platforms before spending money on a certain company (to create income) there should be some form of research done. Shein is not ethical. However most things in the world aren't. No shame to normal people who chose purchase form them because it is their only option. Clothes, art, home decor whatever it might be. Let people who have less income be able to enjoy things and feel good! But as a creator that is where the problem lies. Doing a little bit of research before creating a video is a must before giving a brand free advertisement. A brand that has caused huge issues throughout the art community for years now. Then gaining income from it.
