I travelled through Air India Business Class when I came back to India from Dubai. It was a bad experience for me as they made me wait, the food was not good and the seats were okay. It was not like a business class.

yes but at the moment you can only show the state its in, its improving for sure. but you have to call it out if its bad. you cant experience something bad and paint it positive just because your indian. Air india is so far back now, that even with Tata i highly doubt if they can ever reach the standards of business and first class travel set by emirates, qatar, singapore airlines etc in all aspects from on ground experience to in flight experience.

Irfan bro, I got worst experience in Emirates too. One of the restroom not have lock. Many ladies suffered more once the door opened while using. Another opposite restroom always shown 'Occupied' even no one was there. People think that some one using it for long time and complained to Air hostess. Then she silently open one lid on door handle and through the tiny hole, she just checked anybody there or not and inform that nobody there. Terrible experience. New Aircrafts are yet to be delivered to Air India. Once they start flying new air crafts things will be far different. Let's support them as much as we can. I am an Emirates frequent flyer member & I never travel on any other airlines other than Emirates for International Trips. I still want to see Air India revive completely and offer direct flights from Chennai to different destinations around the world.

Well said sir. Airline is an operationally complex and cost intensive business. Any change is going to take time to show results. Air India was a government operated entity for 50+ yrs. The IAS officers that operated this airline were told to connect the remotest corners of the world directly with our motherland. Air India pilots are some of the best in the world, many are ex indian airforce pilots. So blaming a state owned airline that was providing cheap options to its immigrant citizens is not appreciable. Pls don't spread incorrect message. When Air india gets its new planes, middle east will be a key market and premium products such as BC and PE will be key categories. Good luck Mr. Irfan!!

No business can file any sort of suit for customer criticism. I'd like to know what business is arrogant enough to do that. If there is one such, then that's a business I will not give my hard earned money to as they clearly have a fragile ego and aren't committed to customer satisfaction. BTW, you do realize your airline ticket isn't just to get you from point A to point B right? That's not what they're charging you for even in economy so your point about "safety" is not reasonable as that's one of the basic any airline should provide.

It's an old flight Irfan. Even Emirates has the same issue in certain routes to the USA, where they operate very old flights in certain legs. Wherever there's competition emirates operates newer flights. When Tatas get the newer flights that they ordered, probably by the end of this decade, they will have this replaced.

In my opinion, this review of air India shows your extreme sarcasms and your over expectation of paying just 38k for a business class flight. U need to choose your air craft type, for dubai to chennai it’s always A320. Their service for london and New York and Singapore is also a Dreamliner with flat bed seats and the service is so good. Air India is our national airline. I think you should travel in British airways business class and Lufthansa business class in A320, then you will appreciate air India. Pls fly business class from london to Spain in British airways . SriLankan airlines business class for Colombo to chennai is A320 which is similar to air India. Dubai to Colombo is Boeing 777 or A350 aircraft. Your review is very kiddish and mocking Airindia is completely unfair . I’m not a fan of air India but as a global traveller who travelled with multiple airlines I would say air India is not as worst as your review says

Hello boss... What amount youbpaid for business class is cheaper than economy fare in other airlines.. do you know how muchbis Emirates and other air lines is Rs 75000 and abovr for business class... Ofcourse.. Air India is now need to devwlop much. But do not degrad the upcoming air line...

I too had the similar bad experience in Air India Business Class. Its not at all worth. i felt Emirates Economy is better serviced than Air India Business class.
