a hint of what happened to Mikey in this timeline is in Draken's words from season 1 episode 13: ,,Kisaki idolized Mikey. But eventually, that turned into hatred. Kisaki wants to take away everything that Mikey holds dear" and in this timeline Mikey said "My life was nothing but suffering".......I guess we'll see what happens in season 3

The thing that fucked the future was Takemichi leaving toman, Mikey new he was unstable, and he asked Takemitchy ( who reminds him of his own brother ) to help him and scold him when he starts losing himself, Takemichi left toman, so Mikey lost his inner battle and became a monster. + they mentioned before that Mikey isn’t healed from losing some many precious ppl close to him, his loss has barely started, his life was only suffering and it was just tragic. I think Takemichi should just stay in the past and stop going to the future lol, now for season 3 and chapters past this is uphill for sure

Expectations: Kisaki did this. He's wiping everyone out to take out people close to Mikey Kisaki, rolling over in his potential grave: Now why am I in it? Takemichi thought Kisaki was the worst. Spent two seasons trying to get him kicked out. Then he finally gets him kicked out and it actually creates the WORST timeline. So ironically, the guy thought to be the worst being around actually kept the worst from happening. It's very interesting that in the S1 finale, Kisaki asks Takemichi, "what are you!?" When he has his gun aimed at him And then in this finale Mikey asks him the same question when he's also aiming a gun at him. Mikey said he didn't need Kisaki in the previous episode but he kinda ends up doing almost exactly what he did to Takemichi before. And kinda becomes like him. Truly tragic.

I figured this would be 24 episodes like the first season, such a bummer. So heavy imagining Mikey looking the guys he's known and been friends with almost his whole life in the eyes and then taking theirs. Hakkai died a particularly horrible way.

I still think someone else is time traveling, cause like, it's oddly convenient that it always ends up bad when we return to the future / present. I hope we don't get some sort of plot twist that Naoto is secretly evil or something. It's a crazy reach, but I've got nothing at this point. Anxious but excited for the big season finale episode!

the fact that Naoto got that phone call in S1E12 has me believing he is SOMEHOW involved in all of this. i have a theory on who Naoto’s previous partner was (the one that was murdered before Takemichi got involved), and i think he might be playing double agent for both sides. i can’t justify why he would allow Hina to be sacrificed for it, but he’s really suspicious to me.
