The variety of banana we were most familiar with before the 1950s was called gros michel. It almost died off but is still around. The cavendish, which is what we eat now has less isoamyl acetate than gros michel, and thus isn't as sweet and tasty. And now even the cavendish is at risk of dying off. They don't die off completely usually, but they become unviable for commercial production. New hybrids and species resistant to the disease killing them will have to come into play.

The texture of dots is all wrong, and the flavor is almost non-existent. Whereas Whoppers have a complex texture and layers of flavor, delicious melty chocolate, followed by an airy crunchy core that you can either dissolve or chew or both.
