That is how I used to guillotine. My choking arm was always almost straight and pulled across my stomach and I pulled back instead of up. It worked really well. Also, just now realizing after 20 years it may not even be a guillotine lol... Either way it worked I think because people would wait for the arm to cross their neck but instead it just got squeezed in the side. All in retrospect. I was just a white belt fighting for my life.
