please read: this video is about a month old.. I’ve been super hesitant to post this and i’m not entirely sure why. I hate knowing I put Skye and I into a situation like this even though, Skye was 100% fine (she’s a double coated golden retriever so ya know) but it still made me sick to my stomach. I didn’t sleep the whole night, checking on her and covering her with blankets (that she hated and kept taking off herself LOL) but all in all, this was a really fun day that I DO want to share with you all. it just took me a while to post. anyways, this is of course the last ice fishing video of the year because there’s no more ice to ice fish so cheers to the last ice vid of the winter season! can’t wait for next ice season. I’m not sure if you do or not but you should def run a buddy heater filter on the end of one of those hoses while using a 20lb tank. Propane is dirty and will clog up the orifice.

I have fight or flight plus ptsd PLUS I had/have svt. 3 weeks ago I had svt/heart oblation. So far I haven't had one of those attacks. Then one top of that I found out I have heart disease which isn't helping my anxiety issues. I'm constantly thinking about every twitch, pain or pounding is a heart attack then the cycle starts again. So yeah I totally understand what you go through 😒. Skye watching loon being hyper was funny! ❤

My 15-20 year old buddy heater does that as well when the propane is very cold, limiting gas flow. This is using the small 1 lb. cylinders.

The few times we took our dog fishing it was for a short time and we had a piece of insulation for it to lay on. We usually just left it in the kennel where it has plenty of straw and cats to sleep with. It wasn't a house dog but had a nice warm doghouse and plenty of hair. The main thing was that it's feet would get cold so that why we usually didn't take it out

When it's that cold, it runs your batteries down real fast. The heater, most likely the tank got too cold. My phone doesn't work in the cold, touch doesn't work. Put them in your pocket or bra to warm them up

Them buddy heaters are not that good they seem to fail alot😢. Better is a sunflower heater simple and last a long time . Have one over 20 years old still works like new. And can cook on it if need to. My trust the life on is a kerosene perfection 500 old 1940s . It just works got fuel and match ya be warm soon.
