Great episode! Nice to see Diamond got to keep their memories. Lockers new arms are cool as well. I’m still upset about how PEBBLE of all people keep getting safe. He was safe over Pot, Warning Sign, Bamboo, and Pumpkin. So I’m praying on his downfall soon. Wow. Tough vote this time. ( Not Team Fuzzi I voted Cassie She’s goat. ) I really like these three but for the first time I’m voting Dollar to be eliminated. The dude is cool and I really like him but I really like the two evil do-ers. I’m not sure who’ll come out of this alive but I really hope it’s not a double elimination! What to say what to say…. I think this is a pretty run of the mill episode which is still good by this show’s standards just nothing that special There were some fun character moments like paper having newfound respect for blindfold I think that could lead to some fun interactions later, as well as any of hot chocas interactions with locker…. But some of it felt a bit forced like the ending with diamond and emerald it’s just…. we’ve only seen this dynamic for about 5 episodes so that ending didn’t hit as hard as I wished it did (although the callback to old diamond was bittersweet but pretty well done). Also I’m really surprised that PEBBLE of all characters survived the elimination and it just got me thinking what is it with igneous objects that cause them to have an almost hypnotic effect on viewers. The last thing I really want to say is that while the challenge isn’t the most creative it was kinda fun. So yeah just a standard good episode and honestly that’s all it really needed to be, Ps if you read this far sorry for making have to read a Wikipedia article just for me to say “it’s good”

That’s fine. Adding on to Pebble, I think that the reason they’re liked is that conceptually, they’re an interesting character; they don’t do much themselves, but rather, their main use is a tool that other contestants can use (Bamboo in episode 2 comes to mind, and Scarf found them within seconds of episode 3’s challenge). Would like to see more of that main use.

@@meeptablet_2012 ok so I kinda get it now on a conceptual level but I kinda feel after awhile you may just kinda run out of interesting ways to use these characters rather than characters we actually get to see there true personality’s of, and it can lead to them feeling more like a prop rather than a character like in bfdi by the last few episodes rocky felt more like background space and jokes about vomit and after he was eliminated and subsequently returned in season two he mostly just stood around not even really vomiting until episode 13 and even still. Now with this whole thing I’m not trying to say “these types of characters are bad” more like these types of characters feel like they never reach their full potential, now I don’t need them to have some big switch up about them that completely recontextulizezs they’re character like taco from inanimate insanity but don’t just make them background props who are there just to be mysterious with no substance, I know it sounds very minor but it goes such a long way but maybe they can give them something to be mysterious it can be something like a brief line about them and if you want to be even more subtle maybe hide it in the background basically give a rhyme to the reason. You know writing all of this has actually given me a bit more of an appreciation for characters like these and what they could be rocky is still nowhere near my favorite character but I at least appreciate what he could be. So all in all I basically say I wish pebble had more of a point of interest to give more a reason for me him too be mysterious, thanks for replying 😌
