I am fed up with sharing with strangers. Have experience all mentioned and worst. If it cost me an arm and leg for my own studio place so be it.

I can relate to the noise factor. I normally put cotton wool in my ear to block out noise. I also became a noisy person as well cos to mask out the noises (especially unpleasant noises like you mentioned), I had 2 play my own music.

I feel like the uk in general has a serious problem with small refrigerators. Sooo annoying. Yes the walls are thin for real!!!! It's ridiculous. I hear "stuff" from my neighbours upstairs!!!!

The most annoying part would be the thin walls. I hate it so much. I can relate to few of this because I have decent flat mates. I am usually the night walker in the house

I'm student and I'm going to be sharing next year, om having problems now with the rooms, no one really wants the smaller room but would still pay less so they all want us to do routers so we all get to the same experience. I think its really unfair and have been outspoken over it, considering I looked at 7 properties and got went through all the stress and time getting the house, so I don't think it's fair for me to have to swap with someone who's done absolutely nothing to secure the property!!
