So just a couple thing from someone who lives in STL: 1. We are actually pretty proud of our old ass buildings. Most everyone that lives in STL lives in a building that’s at LEAST 100 years old or more. My apartment which was a home, was built in 1890. So it’s wild how STL builds stand the test of time due to brick, wood, and French architecture. 2. It’s pronounced Co. Ron. Dell. Ett. It’s French lol 3. Thank you for covering this Charlie!! I know the lawyer and he’s an amazing human!

So when the owner was released, that night, people packed the bar... however there were swarms of police sitting outside the bar, waiting on people to leave Also, the bar closes at 1:30 am and theres usually people that hang around the outside of the bar, chatting with friends. The police are incredibly lucky no one was hurt since the bar was still open!

Drunk and speeding. The other responding officers refused to do a DUI check on the driver. In a just world, they'd go to jail for falsely arresting the bar owner. We normally call this "Kidnapping" and to do so to try to cover up your drunk driver makes it first-degree kidnapping - which carries a 10-year minimum sentence and can go as high as life. There's at least 3 other officers who knowingly abetted this.

The fact they are saying it's an accident while also refusing to show the video tells you enough. If it was an accident with him moving out of the way to not hit something this would be a simple "show dashcam footage, pay for damages, the end" kind of story. Yet they are refusing to show the video, didn't do any sort of field sobriety test, detained the bar owner right away and now are refusing to talk about it. Yah something doesn't smell right and we can all smell it from miles away.

@strictlydonotcare24219 ай бұрын
The reason for that is because intelligent people are harder to boss around and won’t just “follow orders”, and there is a higher chance that a smarter person will quit being a police officer faster for better opportunities, so it would not be cost effective to train someone who will quit. That’s why you’ll never meet a high IQ (and that’s actually what they test, funny enough) police officer.

Based on the two different angles that I've seen it looks like the cop car *is* speeding although still in control. At a first glance I genuinely thought it was an accident, but after seeing another video of the crash from a different angle and replaying both videos multiple times I genuinely think that this could've been deliberate. Not only because the SUV seems to be driving perfectly straight until it's already passing the parked car, but especially 'cause of the way the driver brakes. If you were trying to avoid crashing into something you'd hit the brakes and start turning *before* you get to it. But he doesn't brake until he's already right beside the parked car, then lets off the brakes and starts turning once the car is completely behind him. The only other plausibility in my mind is that he was driving drunk so his vision was obscured and his reaction time extremely delayed. Though the fact that they initially claimed they were swerving to avoid a dog and changed their story up several times makes me believe it was the first.

@@Gwazi you've got to be joking dude right? Are you trolling right now? Every day there are more and more videos uploaded of cops arresting people for criticizing them or disagreeing with them. Just last week a woman was arrested for telling a cop she thought he was a bad driver driving dangerously. Two weeks ago, a man was arrested for telling an officer to "be nice" in a precinct. Throughout last year, about eight different people had viral videos for being arrested before flipping an officer off, which is basically the cop arresting you because you hurt his feelings. Cops are arresting people For holding up signs that the cops don't like. Cops are arresting people for recording them because they don't like transparency or accountability. Please notice that all of the activities listed above are legal and upheld by the Supreme Court to be constitutionally protected activities which means that by arresting you the officer has committed a federal civil rights violation and broke the law because of their feelings. A few months ago, a man was arrested for having a sticker on the back of his window that the cop didn't like, and he refused to take it off. I could go on like this for the next hour, but I won't. The point is that the evidence shows that American police are out of control because there is no accountability and no repercussions for them breaking the law. Cops know they have qualified immunity shielding them from responsibility for their illegal actions so they will not stop violating rights and breaking laws until we abolish qualified immunity.
@Gwazi8 ай бұрын

Try me Most of these videos of “police in the wrong” the police aren’t actually in the wrong lol. I can link you so many videos of people claiming police are in the wrong when they are not. You also clearly don’t know what qualified immunity is. It doesn’t protect police from a criminal investigation. It doesn’t mean cops can go commit crime lol. It’s only for civil matters. And it also serves a good purpose. But that’s irrelevant. I think there should be changes to qualified immunity. Because sometimes it is used for bad. What do you mean police are out of control?
